Are you foolish? Not even bi-curious? Scared? Don't repent. Listen to this album and you will concede.Dark man. Dark metal - blackest of all. You can look but don't touch.Norway turns the thermostat down and the lights off for its deprived and tortured souls 5 months a year.Every track on this album holds it's own and has many progressive, impressive, regressive, exalting and frightening elements including that of True Norwegian Black Metal with amazingly solid song structure. Musically varied, some tracks reminisce Gorgoroth and even Akercocke. Be prepared. Gaahl will lead you to into the Dark to see for yourself. This album will change you for better and for worse. The brevity of this album is offset by the power to mesmerize and steal you for a bitch. It's Gaahl's calling to lead us on our independent way astray.

I love it when I buy a record and then enjoy the whole thing all the way through. Gaahl has done a great job with this one! I'm a fan.

Dark creepy and very atmospheric. Worth buying for sure if you are a fan of such black metal.

Honestly I was never a fan of his until this album hit. This is light years ahead of his previous work. Imaginative, melodic, meaningful. His clean vocals are extremely good.

Mr Espedal takes 'black' metal somewhere new and original and it's fantastic. One of the best genre releases of recent times. I look forward to more and what path he chooses to follow next.
