When this album first came out, Inwasnt all that impressed. I was a big SRV fan, and this album didn’t have the same guitar pyrotechnics as his solo cd’s did. However, listening to it now, I have come to appreciate Jimmie Vaughn more as a musician. And all the music is here is very good, I like the instrumentals the best! But all of it is really good, and timeless! You don’t hear this kind of music anymore.

I am a huge Stevie Ray Vaughn fan. While watching a documentary about him, I learned he recorded this album with his older brother. So, I had to order it. There is some really good music on this disc. I would not really classify this one as a blues album. It's more of a pop/rock CD, but the songs are all good ones. Recording quality is excellent. Any fan of SRV will want this one in their collection. I'm really glad I bought it.

Stevie's last studio recording was somehow fitting that it was with his big bro Jimmie, the man he idolized growing up, the one that turned him on to the guitar in the beginning. The music is a little more upbeat as a whole than what he would have done with Double Trouble and it is a little different than his norm but certainly is a great CD and any fan of SRV will want this in your collection. The poignant Tick Tock - the song debuted at his funera l- is a fitting close to the CD and naturally the heart yearns for more. Yes, we will remember Stevie... the music you gave us, the love and feeling that passed thru those notes you played so deeply.

One of my favorite Blues albums. My first favorite blues guitar player is Jimmie Vaughan, and my second is Gary Moore, and then met their favorites probably Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Healey. I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for this, but that's just the way I am when I hear these guys play. Great musicians all around, great songs, great vibe from this album.
