Some of these type of albums are quite fantastic. Some disappointing. Dion and Friends.. this is as good as it gets. It’s bluesy diverse choices in the material. I was so pleased Dion and Jeff Beck picked a slower heartfelt number. Beautiful guitar that fits the mood perfectly. Dion sings it just as the song calls for, not in a pleading way, but one from experience of a broken heart. Hoping not to go down that road. The Brian Setzer track love the NYC train words, his spirited play. Bill Gibbons infuser ever thing with his sly sense of bluesy comin’ to hit ya fun. Samantha Fish , great song. Everybody, on here. Bruce and Patty and Dion, that’s a knockout bluesy hymnal. It all feels real, I’m so happy for this great long lasting talent. Dions 2nd great hits, my first album. Ruby Baby on Columbia, w picture sleeve one of my very first. Sonny Landreth, all the cats Dion has, the real deal.
