Als ich vor Wochen Radio Bob hörte, kam das Lied Mary On A Cross im Radio und ich war total angetan von dem Lied. Also kurz recherchiert und festgestellt, es stammt von der mir bis dato unbekannten Band Ghost.

Habe mich dann mit der Band und den bisherigen Werken beschäftigt und alles mir besorgt und angehört. Was soll ich sagen: eine Mega Combo unter dem "Herzstück und Kopf" Tobias Forge. Man merkt und spürt seine unheimliche Kreativität in fast jedem einzelnen Song und auch in seiner Performance.

Das Album Impera ist wie das Vorgängeralbum Prequelle mit das Beste und kreativste was ich je gehört habe. Rock-Anleihen, 80er Sounds und Abba Rhythmen vereint in vielschichtigen Songs mit progressiven Einflüssen und Hammer Refrains. Es ist quasi alles vorhanden und perfekt umgesetzt.
Die Darbietung mit den Masken und den "dunklen" Texten als Markenzeichen und als perfektes Marketing hinsichtlich Präsentation und Außendarstellung passt auch wie die Faust aufs Auge - ich als gläubiger Christ komme da gut mit klar.
Freue mich auf weitere Werke von Ghost und Tobias Forge!
