The real jewel of this is the acoustic version of CREEP that isn't available online ANYWHERE. That's right--it's not ANYWHERE else but on this EP. Apparently, Thom York HATED the way his voice sounded on this recording, so he didn't allow that version out anymore. This particular EP was the European version, so be careful if you look for it somewhere else--double check and make sure CREEP is in the song list. It's worth it JUST for that version of the song.
got this by accident, 'My Iron Lung' is also on "The Bends" cd. There are only 4 songs on here, all quite good but I don't get the purpose of this album since each song could've been added to their other masterpieces boosting their sales. I'm glad I got it anyway, its brilliant though not as psych rock / surreal as I wanted. Slightly more catchy than "The King of Limbs". My psych/spiritual/Cosmos/surreal side prefers King of Limbs.
Luckily, I bought this on Amazon for 69 cents. But if I'd had to pay $12.00 it would still have been a bargain. The CD lasts 30 minutes, as long as most, if not all, Beatles, Stones, or Zep albums up to 1978. So what's the problem with the length? (King's "The Stand" is far longer than "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" but is certainly inferior to it nonetheless). Better to have 20 minutes of superior music than 55 minutes of tedium, or ten pages of good writing than fifty of schlock. I bought this as I enjoyed "Bends" so very much. The material here is "A" quality all the way. If you are a fan of Radiohead, buy it for the unforgettable music and lyrics that keep you guessing.

This ep is a masterfully crafted work of what is pure and real. So emotional, when listening to it you almost fall into a dream-like state. It has this slight darkness to it that makes for an unmatched depth from any other band in Radiohead's time. It ought to be more well-known, and I would highly recommend that any fan of Radiohead make this purchase. It is well worth it.

BE WARNED! This is *NOT* the full "My Iron Lung EP", which is supposed to have 8 tracks - this is more like a single (4 tracks), similar to the other "Capitol Vault" releases with the same style packaging (brown sleeve with small square sticker). It does *NOT* include the acoustic version of "Creep", nor does it include "Lewis (Mistreated)", "Permanent Daylight", or "You Never Wash Up After Yourself"
If you're expecting the full EP, do not buy this, as it only has half the tracks.
That said, if you're a fan of "The Bends", the content of this single is more of the same style, and you'll enjoy it. My favorite is definitely "The Trickster", which I was relieved to find was included on this release.
This single disc EP collects the tracks from both separate CD singles of 'My Iron Lung' and adds an extra acoustic version of Creep. My Iron Lung is a fantastic track, one of Radiohead's best, and the B-Sides are pretty good too, particularly 'Lewis (Mistreated)'. Might as well get it if you don't have the separate releases. Note - all tracks here appear on the deluxe edition of 'The Bends' (Creep acoustic is on the deluxe of Pablo Honey) so get it if you want the extra tracks or if you're a completist/collector like me!
Stupendo questo album! Ogni traccia é un viaggio! Soprattutto, la seconda traccia che a differenza delle altre é meno conosciuta, non per gli amanti e fans del gruppo! Comunque é prendere se amate I Radioheah!
Wasn't sure about this album at first, love it now after a couple of plays! Bought it on the rip system which is brilliant, was a bit surprised to find 4 tracks on my download & 8 on the album, not complaining though nice bonus.PS album is a tad different to their more recent stuff.
