I will leave this here as a warning to anyone else who encounters problems that sometime, “glitch happens” and don’t kill yourself altering your settings. OLD REVIEW: I bought a streaming version of Planet Earth II [Ultra HD] 2017 and am having trouble running it on my Amazon Fire TV (3rd Generation) which is plugged directly into an HDMI port on my LG OLED65B6P (2016 Model). It kicks into HDR mode and then the image is over-bright -- as if the black layer was missing entirely. I bought several other Ultra HD streaming movies through Amazon the same way (Lawrence of Arabia, Close Encounters, etc.) and am not having this issue. Is there a way to "re-load/re-boot" it somehow?

There were some legacy footage clips from previous BBC documentaries (shot in 1080p) in a few brief places, but overall still excellently shot (new) footage, editing and narration. Some of the sound effects were artificial or enhanced a little, but I didn't find that to be any significant problem or distraction. Some purists might object to some of it though I suppose.

Bought this and im from India. Seller informed me that it is region locked to B(UK). But 4k discs i believe there is not refion lock. However the hd bluray discs in the box are region locked. Anyways after series of confusion regarding region with the seller,i finally got it and 4k disc worked lik charm in my xbox one x (bought in india). Its a must buy for 4k viewers.

My rating is only on the product. Seller was supportive towards the end when i said ship the product regardless of his info on region lock. Im glad i was correct on this one and it worked.

So if any one is not buying because of region lock and have a 4k player, go ahead n buy this. Its amazing.

En cuanto al paquete y el Blu Ray nada que destacar ni quejarse, agusto con la paqueteria. Para la gente que adora la voz de David Attenborough narrando. Escenas en 1080p son suficiente si no dispones de una tele 4k, se ve aun así brutal, nose como se ve sobre escalado pero la versión UHD debe ser aún más flipante, personalmente los episodios se me quedan cortos y es una pena que no tenga subtítulos en otros idiomas( para mis padres por ejm que no saben ingles pero aun así sin entender han quedado emocionados por las imágenes). Muy recomendado tener un sistema 5.1 para disfrutar de esta obra maestra.
