    I got the Soundbar 900 and the Surround 700s.Set up was super easy with HDMI and the Bose App linked everything easily. Ran Adaptiq and the system sounds absolutely amazing. I'm blown away by it as I didn't expect it to make this much of a difference to my previous Sony(a cheap one) soundbar.The Surround 600s I love as well and at times we are looking behind us as the sound is coming from all over. They aren't "loud" but they do what they're meant to do. The loudness comes from the Soundbar which is super loud and clear.Movie nights got immensely better and the whole family loves it.Hopefully I could get a base module in the future to pair with it when I save some money. Only negative is the $$$. But you definitely get a way above average system and everyone that's heard it is blown away by the clarity and surround feeling.Highly recommend pulling the trigger. You live once, go for it!

    After installing my Bose 900 I had some weird problems. Got in touch with the Bose tech on Facebook messenger and they offered some various settings but really did not help the situation. I would cut on my LG TV and then turn on the speaker and it would cut the TV right back off again. Also, I have my XBOX connected to my TV and the sound was coming through just 2.0 and not 5.1 as it should. I would stream Amazon Video through my smart TV and not all the sound was 5.1 on that app as well. So neither I nor Bose could figure out what the problem was. My Bose is connected to my TV via e-arc HDMI so I should have been getting the maximum sound quality available. So as a last ditch effort I decided to change out the HDMI wire. I was using MONSTER CABLE since it's supposed to be a top of the line HDMI wire. Right? I exchanged that for the HDMI cable supplied with the Bose shipment. Viola! That was the problem all along. A faulty HDMI cable. Now it works as it should. Everything is 5.1 now. And I have the C.E.C set so that when I turn off the speaker it turns off the TV as well. This Bose sounds amazing. Depending on the source of the sound as in a movie or TV show it gives Dolby Atmos. I was pleasantly surprised when I was streaming the movie CLASH OF THE TITANS. I mean the surround sound was everywhere coming at me from both sides and even above my head. The scene where Perseus was walking through a cave and stuff started falling from the roof of the cave sounded like it was coming from my living room ceiling. LOL. So anyway I texted Bose again and told them I found the root of the problem and they were very happy for me and thanked me for telling them the solution to my problem. I had read other reviews on Amazon and they told of having similar problems so the answer just might be a faulty HDMI cable. Even though they may have a thick coating they have very fine wire inside and can still get damaged. Even though it's a bit pricey they are about two hundred dollars cheaper on Amazon which is why I ordered it.

    I already had a Bose Smartbar 300 so I was accustomed to working with the Bose app. Setting up the Smartbar 900 was easy. I am impressed with how the 900 improves the listening experience, especially on movie content. My 300 was surprisingly good but I felt the 900 could be better in my larger family room. It is. Turned up people in others parts of the house yell “turn it down.” I already had a Bose 500 base module and the combination shakes the room, as I observed playing the Jurassic Lunch clip from Jurassic Park. I don’t usually play at high volumes and I am not person who needs more base but this this set up is effective if desired.

    The current price on the Smartbar 900 makes this a good time to buy. This model has been replaced by a new model, the Smartbar 900 AI. Personally I didn’t see a benefit in paying $300.00 more for the new model. I am happy with my purchase.

    Sound system sounds amazing - when it works. I have not been able to enjoy more than a few nights of audio before it stops connecting to my TVs ARC channel and I have to backflip through hoops to get it playing again. For a while I just dealt with it, appreciating the wireless speakers and quality when it worked, and not wanting to repackage and return every component part. I also wasn’t confident it wasn’t an issue with my TVs ARC channel. I finally upgraded TVs and after one glorious evening playing Dolby Atmos through the system, today it stopped playing audio through the eARC again on a brand new Sony television. I have walked through the sad excuse for support over the phone that only ever temporarily restored audio through the speakers and I’m now out of the return and warranty window. The “App” is NEVER responsive to the unit. You literally can’t power the soundbar on and off through it. Switching inputs only works sometimes. I wish I could adjust the soundbar through the eARC channel but it simply displays an advertisement to the broken app. I literally can’t wait to be rid of this burden for something that works consistently.

    Really Beautiful looking product, gem for sound quality you can trust blindfully just the issue for me was connecting first time doing setup just fyi it doesnt outputs sound unless until activated through bose app that was new for me really detailed setup menu much to play and organize loved it.
