These headphones have incredible clarity on top of being comfortable to wear.
I was on a flight recently and wanted to really tune out the other passengers. The earbuds I have are dynamite but are better designed for time at the gym or other moments than the one I was going through at the time. I noticed a few passengers with headsets similar to these but they weren't these. I've used Sennheiser HD25's for almost 30 years so it was only fitting to find some wireless ones for traveling purposes. These are everything I could ask for. The sound is great, they're lightweight, and in line with the HD25's that I use for work. Thanks for taking a moment to read this review. Cheers.

Low rating on noise cancellation as they aren't noise cancelling headphones. They sound great. They feel great on my head for the hour at a time I use them.

Downside is the app you need to set equalization presets. IMHO, that app wants too much personal info for too little return. I'll just keep using the equalizer in my music player. In other words, don't download the app.

edit, 2 months later. The app tells you the battery charge. Still, don't bother with the app, just charge the thing every chance you get.

That said, I love these things. They sound great. They pair reliably to my phone. Considering this is the second time I've upgraded my opinion, yeah, for $40 buy these instead of earbuds. Yeah, you'll stand out wearing these as opposed to ear buds, but it's worth it.

    (edit Nov 18, 2022)
I've had these things for a few weeks now, and I love them. I've done A+B tests with my 20 year old $200 wired headsets, these sound better. While working out I can actually play a song and focus on the bass guitar. Or the drummer. Even that weird background sound a keyboardist does. As someone who wrote a Bluetooth stack 22 years ago I would have never thought BT had the bandwidth for this fidelity. My BT phone to car stereo sure as stinky stuff doesn't.

Only problem is when they are loose enough to be comfortable they tend to slide off when I bend over, like when stretching I need to grab my ankle. Solution? When bending over use one hand to hold them in place.

They look and feel like cheap plastic so I'll take good care of them. But for the money, yeah, 2 thumbs up with 5 stars between them.

Good clean audio quality. Easy to connect to Linux system's Bluetooth. But, the cans are small so they move around a little and have to be adjusted. Moving them in any way my fingers hit the volume buttons, which are very sensitive. So, every time I have to move them I end up having to mess with the volume which is very annoying.

Battery has lasted several hours now. No idea how much batter is left. If I had it connected to a phone I would know, but otherwise I guess you don't know until it is running low.

Overall decent headphones for the price, but some obvious design flaws.

I have a set of Sennheiser headphones connected to my PC, and I love them. Recently my wife said she would like some wireless headphones, and her birthday just happened to be this month. So I perused Amazon looking for some "okay" wireless headphones, and to my surprise, I found these "gems" for under $50! After connecting them to her laptop, I tried them out. Clear sound, both crisp and soft - very much like my $200 Sennheisers; comfortable; light; again under $50. While they aren't really noise cancellation, the under $50 make buying these a no-brainer!

I've been using these daily for the last 2 months so clearly they do a good job overall however I can't recommend them.

pros: good sound, very good Bluetooth implementation - switches between devices very well and syncs well with video

cons: uncomfortable cans - too small to cover ear, too large to sit on center ear which means they constantly want to slide down/off, extremely uncomfortable headband that will bite into your head, awkward control placement

***Update: The left speaker intermittently started cutting out. Tapping the right side would temporarily restore the audio. Contacted Sennheiser. They opened a case and that's the last I heard from them. Not worth the hassle to pursue service/replacement for what at the time were $40 headphones. (now they're $69) I just bought another brand. Looking at other reviews for this product and problems people had, I'd spend my money elsewhere.

I've had these for about a week. The sound quality is quite good, which is to be expected from Sennheiser. I prefer over-the-ear headphones because earbuds fall out of my ears and just don't feel comfortable. These are quite light and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. The cups are small enough to fit under the warm comfy hat I wear in cold weather when walking outdoors. The battery life seems pretty spectacular. I've charged them once and used them for a total of perhaps 4 hours and the battery is still at 80% They quickly and easily paired with my Windows PC, Android phone, and Android tablet. I have used them for phone calls and Teams calls and people can't tell I'm using a BT headset. No one has complained about the microphone quality. The BlueTooth is smart enough to handle listening to music from one device and mute the audio when a call comes in from a second device, at least until you answer it.

Now for the things I find annoying:

-The Sennheiser app you must use to adjust the built-in equalizer. The app itself is okay, but I don't like having to register just to use it. Use a fake name and disposable email address.
-I wish these folded for travel or came with a hard case. Not really a complaint for the price paid.
-Noise cancelling would be nice. (again, not really a complaint for the price)
-An option to connect with a cord would be nice. (again not a complaint - I knew what I was buying)
-My only real, relevant complaint: If you're connected to multiple devices and you go out of range of one, the headphones will remind you incessantly every 30 seconds or so that you've "lost connection", even if the device is miles in your rear view mirror at that point. I wish there was a way to turn this reminder off, though turning the headphones off and back on again and letting them pair again with the remaining device(s) makes the nag go away.
-Oh, and the fake British voice that this and so many BT audio devices seem to use to report information is not terrible, but mildly annoying.

I am a bit of a headphone addict, but so far only using wired ones. I ordered a pair of these for a friend and am really pleased at how well they work. Sound wise, they'd be good value for the money even they were only wired but they are not. They pair easily, and have good range. And they seem to work reliably.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent audio quality - Multipoint BT5 take calls while listening to another player. APTX LL
Reviewed in Australia on September 19, 2022
Very good quality audio is produced by these closed-back headphones that have moderate isolation from background noises and have very little sound leakage to those that may be around you.

Multipoint Bluetooth V 5 is included - allowing you to connect to two source devices such as a computer and a phone and be able to have the phone interrupt the computer when an incoming call comes in. This is a great feature.

The headphones benefit from being used for 10-20 hours run-in before they loosen up and start to produce their best audio quality. Straight from the box they can be a little tight and confined sounding.

Once that is done, however, the audio quality is very high, and has a very balanced sound typical of Sennheiser's neutral audio profile.
Bass is just as it should be - going all the way down to the lowest of the lows, but not overbearing like in many gaming oriented headphones. They, as a result, are very easy to listen to for long periods without undue fatigue.
Mind you, if you pop on a head banging drum track or something with super low Bass and turn up the volume, these headphones will oblige and give you plenty of oomph you can both hear and feel on your ears.
Unlike many of the gaming heavy bass headphones, however, it is always very controlled and hifi and never descends into distorted directionless noise that obliterates anything else that might be going on in the track at the same time.
There is a app for android and apple phones that allows you to save custom equaliser settings to customise the sound if you want to boost bass, mid or treble, or create a custom EQ to be saved to the headphones. There is also a podcast mode that makes voices and conversation very clear and quite loud.
They will handle pretty much any music source with aplomb, but they absolutely excel in vocal, acoustic and piano reproduction.
The soundstage is wider than most, and the fidelity and imaging is of a very high standard for a closed back headphone - They should be very good at sound cues in gaming to let you know where your opponents are creeping up on you.
They support the APTX codec and APTX Low latency mode, meaning that there is very little delay between the sound being generated in a game and being reproduced on the headphones so long as the source can use these advanced codecs.

The headband clamps just enough to hold them securely on the head without slipping off with general movement, and the earcups are of a soft material that does not build up too much heat and sweat. The resin they are made from is very light - only 125g - and that contributes to their stability.
I am able to happily and comfortably wear them for hours at a time before I feel the need to take them off and relieve the pressure.
The band and cups housing the speaker drivers is made of a semi-flexible plastic/resin that has been used and refined over more than 40 years at Sennheiser and is extremely resilient. The cups are adjustable along the end of the band to allow you to position the top of the band lightly on the top of the head to provide gentle and secure placement of the earcups over the ears. The cups pivot very slightly side to side to allow them to mate well with the ears with a gentle, distributed pressure over the entire lobe with no nasty high pressure points to annoy you.
The maximum volume attainable is a touch above normal for wireless headphones, (Sennheiser suggest 110dB) but not on the super scale that some others manage.
Connection is only wireless via Bluetooth connection. No direct wired capability is available so you are unable to use an external headphone amplifier to increase the maximum output, and once the 25 hour battery is dead, you will need to recharge them to continue to use them.
Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connections, (with fallback to earlier versions), allows improvements in range and connectivity of Bluetooth 5.0 to be used if your devices also support the v. 5.0 bluetooth protocol.

The headphones support the high quality aptX codec, as well as the low latency aptX LL codec in addition to the APPLE device preferred AAC codec, finally falling back to SBC encoding that all bluetooth devices support. These headphones will be able to connect to all comers without difficulty.

Charging is quite rapid with a USB C port on their base 3 hours charging gives you 25 hours of playback and much longer time in standby.
Background noise is blocked out relatively well, and they do not really leak sound around you when in use.

In office and home environments the microphone works quite well. It uses a single microphone built into the headset, and the quality is a little 'boxed in' sounding that is common to this style of microphone. There are no echo cancellation or background noise tricks applied to the output, so they likely will not do so well in wind or outside or in noisy environments, but I haven't tested these scenarios.

They remain in standby when not in use - you must turn them off manually to prevent the batteries draining slowly when not in use. A relatively simple software fix, but not implemented in this model.

In summary these are very high quality bluetooth wireless headphones. They could only really be improved by having a direct wired option and slightly louder maximum output, but these are minor issues, and they stand as a great quality wireless headset.
