Slinky Flatwound Bass Strings

Ernie Ball Slinky Flatwound Bass Strings bring together the smooth feel of traditional flats with the modern power of cobalt. Cobalt, a metal that Ernie Ball introduced to the electric string world, displays a very strong attraction to the magenets in guitar and bass pickups. This enhanced magnetic relationship results in a flatwound bass string with increased brightness, clarity, and output without the finger noise of a round wound string.

I loved these strings!
5 Stars
I loved these strings!
I was looking for a fatter and less crisp sound (I have a Yamaha TRBX-505) and gave a chance for the flatwounded strings.. They’re expensive but I have no regrets so far. Loved the sound and the touch, exactly what I wanted. Just a tip, don’t cut them, just follow the instructions for installation. I’ll update this review in the future
