About us

An American icon, Fender was founded in Southern California and has established a worldwide influence that extends from the studio to the stage—and beyond. Everyone from beginners to the acclaimed artists have used Fender instruments, amps and gear, making the company a cultural symbol that resonates globally. Nearly seven decades since founder Leo Fender built his first electric guitar, Fender’s reach transcends instruments and accessories, encompassing a range of innovative digital experiences that fuel musical expression and serve players at every stage–on every stage.

Transforming Music One Guitar at a Time

Leo Fender wanted to craft an instrument that was as functional as it was easy to use. It was a primitive-looking object that was tough as nails, its powerful name inspired by another groundbreaking invention: the television. And with its revolutionary electrified tone, it would change the way music was made—forever. When someone asks, “Why Fender electrics?” the answer is clear. Fender guitars were designed to be louder, and exciting tones they produced are still engrained into our cultural DNA.

The First Word in Electric Bass

In 1951, we wanted to liberate musicians from the confines of the upright bass. And we did it by introducing a brand-new instrument with a bold, new sound. That instrument was the Precision Bass, a name that would not only become synonymous with rock ‘n’ roll, but also shape its very being. As time went on, we created new instruments to cater to a new, evolving type of musician: the electric bassist. Each one was and still is a driving force behind the greatest moment in music—of every era, of every genre. Period.

Tiny and awesome!
This Fender Bullet Tuner is tiny, and I do mean TINY! It’s about the size of a 45 caliber bullet, hence its name. This can be a good thing or bad thing depending on your preference, but perfect for my need. In the photos I uploaded this is how it looks on my kids’ Squier Mini. Note the headstock is smaller than that of a normal sized strat, but gives you an idea of how small it actually is.As for performance it works great. It illuminates bright enough that it can be easily read in daylight (though not in direct sunlight). It’s also sensitive enough and similar to other clip on tuners that it allows me to tune appropriately. Swivels in any direction I need, and a tension screw can be adjusted to tighten Y axis. Very impressed!

I have now been using the bullet for over 45 days. This little guy really does a phenomenal job. Frankly, you can carry it in your shirt pocket, it is that small. I would not advise for anything longer that a guitar fret board as the size is just about perfect for guitar or anything smaller. Frankly, it is super easy to read in the dark. The accuracy is just as good as my pedal tuner and tunes very fast, not bouncing back and forth from cent to cent. If you want a small no nonsense tuner you can carry in you shirt pocket that tunes accurately….this little guy is for you.

This tuner is smaller than it seems in the pics, which is fine. The display is very bright and easy to read. I like the easy-to-find, clicky button to turn it on/off. It works well on either the front side or back side of the headstock, and the small size is unobtrusive but not so small that you have to worry about losing it.

It seems to be plenty accurate - no issues in that regard. My only complaint is that the sharp/flat red LEDs turn off too quickly. In bringing a string up to pitch the "in tune" LED will turn green, but I feel that I have to hit the string again to see if it's still a bit flat or is going sharp.

It's hard to explain - it's a "feel" thing. But I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could, but I'd rather give 5 than 4 - I think it deserves the higher rating.

For starters, I really like this tuner for a lot of reasons, but before I get into why, you should know I had to return the first one as it just didn't work. I could turn it on fine, but it only sporadically registered my strings even when clipped into the sound hole of my acoustic. Replacement works fine.

So what I love is its small size and its versatility. I like to hide my tuners on the back of my headstock, and for me, the smaller the better. But not all tuners can be read easily on the back - usually the display is upside down. I've only found a couple that can be maneuvered to read right side up while installed that way. The first I found was a cheap thing I bought three of when I realized what I had. A "robot" looking thing with a swivel head on a universal joint. It's since been discontinued and is no longer available. I think I got those for about 11 bucks each, and they're still going strong. But...no more available when I needed another one. Yup, bought another instrument!

The barrel on this one CAN spin, contrary to some reviews, which allows the display to be read right side up when installed behind the headstocks. You may have to slightly loosen the tiny bolt that holds the universal joint together, but you'll figure it out.

Nice bright display, and a very robust build for its size. Happy guy here except for the fact that I had to wait for a replacement.

One button is awesome.
If you need tuning other than chromatic 440, buy a decent pedal tuner.
Works great for bass and guitar, even tuned 1/2 step down.
Battery saver feature turns it off.
Push button twice to turn on after battery saver feature.
Feels more durable and heavy duty than other clip tuners.
Looks good and LED screen very visible.
I’ve bought a few of these and definitely the most “professional” of the headstock tuners.
Worth paying a little more.

I clip this to my bottom E tuning peg (on both my strat and Taylor acoustic) so it doesnt damage the guitars wood and it works wonderfully from there.
Its only needed for a few moments to bring all the strings to super close to correct pitch, so the battery is hardly ever used.
Tiny adjustments by ear after that make perfect. I've not once been disappointed.
It was taking me a lot longer to tune my guitar with an E tuning fork before this, and those odd times I struggled to get it right are gone.

An ideal tuner, so small and simple. Very quick to indicate correct tuning.
Just dont lose it, its not easy to find!
