Product Description

AZZA unveils Genesis 9000. Offering unprecedented features, with uncompromised performance, all at an unbeatable price. Among the many courteous innovations you'll find in Genesis 9000, is a removable motherboard tray that can be installed in two opposite directions. Placed in the traditional way, your CPU is next to the top fan. Place the motherboard tray in reverse, the ventilator is now in close proximity to your VGA cards. Placing a giant exhaust fan next to your hotspot is one feature that helps keep the computer cool locally. Furthermore, since the physics of good airflow demands global planning of the position and the direction of the ventilators to ensure adequate air intake and proper exhaustion, Genesis 9000 is engineered with the power supply installed in the front bottom so that 2 x 140 mm mid- and rear-bottom fans can supply gusts of wind blasting upward removing excess heat via the top 2 x 230 mm fan. This design generates an uninterrupted vertical airflow that allows air to flow in a straight line from bottom to top, providing optimum cooling for the entire system. The full-tower case supports dual-power supply. A second power supply may be installed in the rear bottom.

IT'S A BEAST!

IT'S A BEAST!
This case is so much bigger than the pictures make it out to be. I have so much extra room. I'm running an i7 3770K OC'd to 4.40Ghz, on a Gigabyte MoBo, CM Water 2.0 extreme cooler, 32Gb G.Skill ARES Ram. OCZ Vector 128GB SSD, 2x WD Cav. Black 1TB HDD, Dual Gigabyte Radeon 7970 3GB OCWith all these parts the extra space inside the case allows for massive airflow up and out the top. I have also put in 2x 120mm fans and 1 230mm fan on the side to blow directly on the GPUs. I am amazed at the size of this BEAST and I am completely happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a larger size rig with plenty of room to upgrade.

Pros - Size to do anything enough room for everything including dual power supplies and liquid cooling, Case looks amazing, like something from Tron or Mass Effect...the reversible mobo tray and side panels are great(was not a fan of the "upside down" mobo arrangement, I went with the standard format and reversed the tray and placed my power supply in the rear instead of the front mount.Over all fantastic case, high quality steel , mixed with utility ,and function. Customization options are limitless with case.Heat will not be a problem with this case for "air" users this moves a lot of air, with so many fans (can be a bit loud at max)Looks stunning with LED lights lit up on the side.

Cons-Very large, a bit awkward to move having no handles or grip areas, you have to lift the case from the bottom and heft it 48 pounds + the gear in it.(the handle on the rear is actually plastic and only meant to remove the mobo tray not support the weight of the case)
Reset button can be tricky with those whom have large fingers,it is a very tiny button that has to pressed quite deep into its receptacle(good to prevent accidental restarts I imagine) Side window is a bit small...
Mine shipped to me minus one thumb screw , and minus one fan grill cover on the bottom inside of the case,....but to be honest I dont even care this case is that great. So i didn't even bother calling Azza to gripe.

5 star case for sure love every bit of it

This case introduces functions that I think should be standard for any case manufacturer going forward. The removal motherboard tray, the video card support brackets, the front mounted or dual psu setup, and the vertical airflow are all wonderful ideas. Usually when something is introduced it is not as great as it can be. That is the case with this product. It was extremely difficult to put together the build due to some manufacturing flaws. My motherboard tray was warped and extremely difficult to remove. The multiple fans were difficult to connect as they had no labeling whatsoever and used molex connections.

I think this product could have been amazing if the ideas were better executed. With that said I am still satisfied. The case looks ominous. I had to name it Colossus.

A very large case with enough room for every thing, the down side to the case is that it doesn't do as good of a cooling job as it claims, you'd have to replace all current fans and add the remaining fans it has slots for, the fans that come with the case are aimed to be a bit too quiet, thus pulling not enough air to better cool it but that's its really only con or down size, unless you count some screws falling off in shipping, (( The screws for the gpu bracket & 1 in the back ))

I got this case because I wanted to get a case that'd last me a very long time, even as newer parts come out years from now, having the case for over three years now or so, I can see I made the right choice, they could of given much stronger fans but that's my only gripe or at least included the large side fan, anyways, personally I think its worth the price, its huge, has lots of room for both fan and liquid cooling, plus you can flip the mobo around, which I did,

Sorry I'm not going into detail but every little detail I say you can think of, its done it right, I guess the weight might be too much for some, starting out at 35lb empty and after putting parts in it'll be around 60lb (a guess) but every thing else on it works great, I'd go as far as saying its the best case on the market to date or best full size case, its big but not flashy, nor is it dull by any means.

First, the pros. It is a large case. Second, Amazon gladly accepted the return of the case. Third, Amazon gave me a refund BEFORE I could make it to my local UPS store to return the unit. Cons - OMG, where to start. The mounting hardware for the motherboard - none of the screws and mounting points would work together. The on button literally broke away the first time I pushed it on. I had to remove the top case, place it back in it's respective slot. Each time I pushed it, I would have to hold it from the back to ensure it would not fall out. Mounting the motherboard - now I see why the case is reversible. I used a Corsair H100i to water cool the CPU. I could only mount it from the standard motherboard setup. The hoses for the water cooler would not reach the CPU in the reverse position, not to mention I could not mount the water cooler on the bottom of the case. I also had to purchase 8 pin and power extensions when mounting the power supply in the front position of the case with the motherboard in the standard setup (just FYI). When I did get it assembled, the LED lights would not function, though they were wired in correctly. Also, the unit had metal tabs across each drive bay on top, no big deal to remove, just annoying. Another HUGE negative, the drive cages were not removable nor could you side mount them. The quick release tabs fell off easily, and it is difficult to get the drive bay mounts to slide in and lock. When assembling the unit, the black interior (which the paint job was most excellent on the case), made the assembly more difficult. It was very hard to view inside as you worked. I used a camping head lamp, so no big deal. Just FYI. Overall, thought a huge case with lots of room, I would look at another model. If you have the money, Caselabs has some KILLER ones (well over $450 by the time you select how you want your case). I'm going for a different unit, which I hope to have better luck with. Again, I would RUN FROM THIS CASE UNTIL AZZA WORKS OUT ALL THE ISSUES. Deuces :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Ridonculous amount of space and ventilation
Reviewed in Canada on November 27, 2013
This case is nuts... It has a lot of fans in it to cool everything.... Lots of space for cable management. The only cable that is "in the way" of the air flow to give you an idea is the PCI-E cable for graph card. The case comes in "reversed", basically your MB tray is upside down.... i gave it a shot (although i didint like the idea at first) and let me tell you running a benchmark on my pc my GPU was at 31 degrees and CPU at 40. the LOL part about it is that there are 1 empty slot for an additional 230mm and 2 spots for 120mm fans. It's really not hard at all to install everything. The only time consuming part is cable management; like all other cases imo. Great buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Case but Slightly Damaged/Defective
Reviewed in Canada on June 22, 2013
The case is a beast, plenty of room and tie-down points for clean cable routing.
None of the case fans seem to have PWM control, just on and off.

As for the damage and defects:
-Side panels did not fit well in their places and seem to be 2-3mm out of position towards the rear
-Several small knicks in the paint
-Several thumb-screw positions seemed like they had been impacted into the case
-A few scratches in the plastic on the front-side
-Some of the steel was not fully folded around the frame of the case and protrudes from the back about 7mm
-The quick swap bay back-planes were damaged by the box of accessories sliding around, bending the pins and other components

The damage might be explained by the rough handling of the box during shipping (not likely as the box was fairly intact, just beaten around the corners), a rough customs inspection (just as likely as none of the tape seems to have been replaced), or rough handling in the factory back in China.
