Listen to all the bad reviews, it's true. DON'T PURCHASE THIS GARBAGE

Listen to all the bad reviews, it's true. DON'T PURCHASE THIS GARBAGE
Don't do it....again DON'T do it! I purchased this tablet in February to replace my old Samsung Note tablet 10.1 after i dropped it causing the power button to become broken. I wanted something with a more google like experience. I chose this tablet over the Nexus because i wanted the memory slot and hdmi. I read all the reviews, even the bad ones. Thought maybe the problems were fixed with this thing. So i took the gamble and purchased on Amazon. Nice looking tablet, and the stylus was a plus. Edges are a little sharp when holding and it's a little heavy (heavier than my bigger Samsung tablet), but that's not a problem for me. The problems started within a week. My soft keys just disappeared. Like POOF, to an alternate universe. Basically the little CIRCLE button (home key), and Square button (recent apps) just went missing. All i was left with is a TRIANGLE (back button). Now try navigating a brand new tablet without your basic buttons....imagine that. It's almost impossible. Also the screen would freeze during the process of me trying to access the settings menu. I was able to do that and factory reset the thing. No problem, because the keys came back after the reset......then disappeared again.....factory reset.....disappeared AGAIN...factory reset....well i repeated that process everyday for about a month. I thought maybe it was an issue with Lolipop. Checked every forum and could not find a fix unless i rooted the device. So fast forward to March, i got so frustrated that i wanted to return it...too late. I'm outside the return window for Amazon. Warranty is still good through NVIDIA. So i contact them through live chat customer service. This guy had no idea what i was talking about. I had to send him a picture of the problem. How can you not understand when i tell you the home and recent apps button is missing? He even told me to go to the NVIDIA site on my tablet.....uhhhhh HOW CAN I DO THAT WHEN I CAN'T ACCESS ANYTHING BECAUSE MY BUTTONS ARE MISSING?? He finally got the idea......after 30 minutes. His reply "there is a problem with the device". Wow. Ok. So i wait for his solution...and wait, and wait. Ten minutes go by....i type, soo, do you have a permanent fix to this problem without factory reset? His reply, I'm checking. I give up after ten more minutes of no messages. I ask if i can return the device, this is unacceptable. He replys, " i have to check, i will email you a reply. So, if you would like to go through what i went through, go ahead and roll the dice. I am still waiting for my email. Until then, i'm stuck with a tablet with a black screen and a triangle button. Poor customer service and garbage tablet. Listen to the reviews, don't be like me and make this purchase.
