Overall, this case was a great choice, and I love it!

Overall, this case was a great choice, and I love it!

The front panel pops on and off with ease and the BitFenix logo is a raised badge (feels plastic) and not a sticker or paint (still covered in plastic in the photo). The pre-installed 120mm (x2) front intake fans are mounted outside the case but behind the front cover and the 3rd 120mm fan is mounted at the rear (all included fans are 3-pin brushless DC fans model BFF-SCF-12025KK-RP). A 140mm fan can fit in the very top of the front, but a 120mm will not span the mounting holes for both top and bottom screws in the uppermost position, so you are indeed stuck with either up to 140mm fans (x3) or 120mm fans (x2). The front, side dust filters are metal filters affixed via screws to the front panel - very sturdy and does not appear likely to fall apart any time soon. There is no dust filter at the bottom of the front panel so it is possible that dust will travel up into the bottom front mounted fan, but with good air flow, air will travel down the bottom tunnel towards the power supply and not in an upward direction into the front bottom fan (hopefully - and I may consider a secondary interior dust filter inside the case at some point in time just to satisfy my OCD).
The top panel does slide up and off (with the side tempered glass panels removed) but note that the top panel does extend a little down the sides of the frame (kind of like sideburns) so it seems a little odd the first time you remove the top. The dust filter in the top panel is also metal and permanently affixed. It is covered by the same thick aluminum as the base of the case, but the vertical space is only around 1" in height along the top. If you don't keep them clean on a routine basis, dust will most likely settle into the USB ports [3.0 (x2) and 2.0 (x2)], headphone, and mic jacks since they do face upward and are not covered. I think I will look for some type of port inserts to address this issue, but definitely not worth dinging the case for a whole star (maybe a 1/2 star for the thumbscrews and this upward port design but that is the extent of my issues).
Each side tempered glass panel is removed by 4 thumbscrews and feels sturdy. Inside the case there is a lot going on. My only complaint here is that all the thumbscrews are TIGHT and required a screwdriver to remove (and reinstall in most cases). Note that if you want to utilize any of the three GPU support mounts (part of why I bought the case) then you have to make a choice - GPU support mounts with radiator in the top or radiator in the front with no GPU support mounts. There simply is not enough clearance if you are going to liquid cool. With some minor tubing bends you can put the pump and reservoir in the front with the GPU support mounts installed, but not the radiator. Also, if you install the EATX extender plate just for looks, you also lose the proper mounting holes for single GPU support mounts (a 2nd CF or SLI card may be low enough to be below the EATX extender plate). There does appear to be plenty of space for a 26-27mm radiator with either a push OR pull configuration in the top of the case, but not push-pull. I am still awaiting AM4 mobo availability (at least for the mobo I want) so that is a visual eyeball guess, but both the radiator and fans will mount inside the top of the case. There is recessed notch in the top panel that gives available mounting space for up to a 360mm radiator (I put the 3 included 120mm fans in the top just to ensure there is space, and there was wiggle room leftover to slide forward or backward based on other components such as rear or front case fans).
I am really looking forward to building in this case once I get all the parts in for my new Ryzen build. Plenty of options for HDD and/or SSD placement, but mine will go right into the showcase RGB lighting panel. BTW, the controller for the included LED panel will require a 4-pin molex connector for power. I hope this helps someone if they have some of the same questions I had before ordering. Two thumbs up for me.

Tldr; this is good for the money.
Took about 4 hours to build into the case the main problem I had were with the "motherboard standoffs" don't use them they will strip and you motherboard won't hold. So I had to use the ones in my old case. The tempered glass has a slight dark tint to it but I think it enhances everything I need some colored fans. This case looks really really nice outside and inside the HDD SDD cages can be a bit of a problem the rubber dampers fall out if you are not careful otherwise this case looks top notch and is "dead silent" I was going to build this on my vacation but I got a early jump start on it. Great to see the sides of my Crucial RAM ect.. I almost went with a Fractal Design Define C with Tempered glass but I'm glad I didn't... I heard the cables can be tight in that case....
