BLU PURE XL Smartphone - 4G LTE GSM Unlocked - 64GB +3GB RAM - Grey
The BLU Pure XL is amazing, very fast speed and amazing screen detail. The camera it amazing but does make pictures very bright, low light is fantastic and focus is fast and sharp, you get way more than what you pay for.
Speakers: The dual stereo speakers are loud and clear. I have to turn the phone down in order to make my ringer not be heard by the neighbors.
Screen: Screen is full 1440 and the refresh rate is high end. While watching videos you'll be able to see pores on faces just fine and very fluid movement.
1 Handed Ability: The Built-In keyboard is great but swipe prediction is very pore. This does have very good one handed support. But I recommend replacing the Keyboard app with something that has better prediction if you're a swipe user.
Network: Although this phone has LTE bands built in; the older bands that most companies offer in little to smaller areas are not supported. This phone is made with the newer bands that most companies are upgrading towers to provide. So if someone does get this phone and the newer band is not in your area you'll have either H+ or 4G (refer below). Not to worry all the cell companies are working on the upgrades and the LTE bands will become available in your area soon. Refer to your provider for further information. As of now LTE is supported on this phone in most cities, towns, and urban areas depending on service. I recommend a service sunning on AT&T towers. Until T-Mobile finishes upgrades on towers, LTE is very limited and may continue to be limited due to no support for Band 12. (Although there is band 4 which is T-Mobiles dominate.)
Note: This phone was said to be getting Marshmallow but for now we have a stock version of Lollipop. No set date has been announced for the update.
1. E = EDGE/GSM: When getting this sign you are getting the weakest signal for your phone but are still getting non-roaming signal for general calls and text. I advise if this is your areas mane signal strength you have a Wi-Fi signal available for the data internet connection.
2. G = 2G/GSM: When the G is showing you are getting remedial signal but still pretty strong. Calls and Text's will be flawless and you will be able to do general internet surfing but you will not be loading any HD videos or have perfect connection to online only game's. With this I recommend a Wi-Fi signal in your house if you plan on using the internet in these areas.
3. H = 3G-/HSPA: This signal is classified as 3G but runs a little slower or faster depending on how close you are to the main tower. If you're getting a good amount of bars with signal will do flawless calls, text's, and you'll be able to able to surf the internet and load videos at a max of 480P (320 Resolution is recommend for best result).
4. 3G = 3G+/GSM/HSPA: This is the full 3G speed and will be flawless with calls, text's, and be able to stream video like Netflix and Hulu (Recommended 480 Resolution), play online games, and surf the internet fast and easy.
5. H+ = 4G-/GSM/HSPA+: This is the signal that most first generation 4G phones use. Perfect for all light movie watchers, and small business people. Flawless calls, text's, and the internet is speedy. H+ although fast has been known to be faulty in a lot of area's and was quickly replaced. If you've got this signal it's still 4G but it's kind of like the EGDE version of 4G. For best results stay in one place when in use as service changes rapidly while moving from place to place. Example using this speed while driving would not be reliable.
6. 4G = 4G/GSM/HSPA+: This is the 4G signal that was most used from 2010 to 2012 4G phones use such as the Galaxy S series (Sept for the S4) Although this is a very fast and reliable; it's not as fast as LTE in most areas but for the average person whom just watched movies and plays online games on his/her phone this signal is more than enough to give anyone a crisp fast feel and load HD movies (720P Recommended but not limited to.)
7. 4G LTE = 4G+/GSM/LTE: This is the current signal most used. It is lighting fast and is the most reliable for non-stop videos, gaming, and downloading.
Disclaimer about BLU Phones: Most BLU Phones are made to have a long shelf like as they are not ready to sell from a store. As such the Battery has never had a full charge. I recommend before turning the phone on to charge it for a full 8 to 12 hours and not to unplug it even if it says full. If you turn the phones on before they are charged fully you risk losing battery memory and suffering pore battery life.
NOTICE: Most BLU phones to not auto populate Access Point Names (APN) and in turn when someone puts in the SIM card the service seems to not work or some people will start having issues with picture messaging. Google search your provider for correct APN settings and install them in the phone yourself. This is an issue with most unlocked phones and is very easy to fix.

Would not give one star! Customer service terrible, BLU does not care about their customers! Won't stand up to warranty
POS phone so do not buy! BLU does not care about you as a customer after you spend an overpriced amount on their POS phones which don't last and are defective! Bought phone in December 2015, already in March 2016 lines running down screen which after a few days turned into green splotches. Phone now useless, can't see through screen. Called customer service- they say do a hard reset first ( so now you lose your operating system) and can't do anything with the phone anyways after that! They say save whatever before doing it - yeah right, there is no option to save on the sd card anywhere! Try to find out on Internet how to save to sd card, everyone else asking the same question who also cannot do it! So send a pic to them of screen still jacked up (by the way one year warranty supposedly) they say sorry you mustve gotten wet! That damn phone never saw water EVER! So ask to talk to manager, who proceeds to say I can send it in for inspection (how much you want to bet it then sees water via sabotage). So apparently they will replace/repair if no water damage - but wouldn't have had I not been so stern about it. Phone never dropped, screen not cracked either. So they claim if I want my phone back going to have to send them a check for ten dollars whether fixed or not! No offer to fix screen just sorry SOL to me. I will delete this should I somehow not get sabotaged by BLU - but I promise they're not gonna find an ounce of evidence towards water damage. The phone worked perfectly (besides screen) which doesn't seem quite right had it had damage by water. They're saying moisture could've caused. That's f'ing BS. So you can't use a phone unless it's the perfect temp and humidity?! Awesome. Had a cover on it since day 1 - the only cheaply made flimsy one they make for these phones. And have a feeling when I pay to get back my phone that they refuse to believe their Screen could POSSIBLY be defective, it's still not going to have an operating system put back on it that they made me reset for no damn reason so even if I buy a more than 100$ lcd screen from somewhere and fix the POS myself, I'll still have to find out how to re-install the operating system. Whole things been a crock of sh*t and their service sucks! Get the frickin run around and they don't give two craps about it! Nice - paid over $350 for a phone to use exactly 3 months and what's the sense of the warranty if they're no going to honor it and blame the customer for their defect. I have no reason to lie, the phone NEVER saw water, NEVER been dropped. Worked perfectly fine except blotches on UNBROKEN glass screen! Hopefully enough people out there will leave their terrible experiences also to take down BLU and their shady dealings. Should have researched all the negative comments on sooooo many other sites before giving so much money for a product that the company cares NOTHING about their customer.
