Nice Drive But No OS Migration Tools Provided
Be sure to download Intel's Solid State Drive Toolbox. It provides firmware updates and tuning of your drive as well as diagnostics and drive status.My attempted migration within Windows 10 with a UEFI system BIOS had been a dismal failure. I had to do a clean install to support this new drive. Paragon Drive Copy failed for me for OS migration in this instance. OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (似非)SP2 x64
使用モード: Legacy BIOS(非UEFI) MBR NTFS フォーマット ブート、システムドライブ
バスが PCIe なので、M.2 スロットが装備されている M/B でも、M Key type なのか確認しましょう。B Key type, B & M Key type は基本的にバスが異なっているので使用できない可能性あるので注意しましょう(https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.2)
MBR で使用している理由としては、容量が512GiBなのと DiskCopyTool 等でシステム移行する際の互換性を保つ為と、GPTでパーティションを作成すると、シャドウパーティションが作成されてしまう為です
Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 で使用する場合は M/B が本製品を認識している事と KB2990941([．．．]) KB3087873[．．．]) を適用した install.wim を使用してインストールイメージを作成しないと、インストールドライブとして認識しません。ただ、データドライブとして使用するなら、M/B が本製品を認識している必要は無く [[ASIN:B00IUF54JO 玄人志向 STANDARDシリーズ PCI-Express x4接続 M.2スロット増設インターフェースボード M.2-PCIE]] 等を使用して KB2990941 KB3087873 を適用すれば使用できます
HD Tune Pro, CrystalDiskMark でベンチマークを連続で行った直後に手で触れないぐらい発熱していたので、70mmファンを取り付けて使用します。M.2 スロットを備えている M/B 購入の際には冷却機構が備わっているか、冷却ファンを後付できるレイアウトなのか確認したほうが良いでしょう

これ以上早くてもゲームやOSのロード時間はほぼ変わらないようなのでこれで十分だと思います。
SATASSDからの乗り換えですが実際OSやゲームもちょっとは早くなりましたがそこまで変わりません。
あとヒートシンクを貼らないと、負荷時60度前後まで上がってしまいますが、何かのヒートシンクを貼れば30度後半で済んでくれます。
私は↓を買って、でかすぎたので切って使いました。このSSDならもっと小さいヒートシンクでも十分だと思います。
