The removable horizontal motherboard tray and large mesh top and front panels with two 120mm trifle front fans create a powerful front to back airflow. There is plenty of space for even the tallest high Performance tower heat sinks, thick liquid cooling radiators and up to 3 of the high-end graphics cards. A case quickly and easily transforms into a test Bench. C ideal for enthusiasts and over clockers. Two durable trifle fans included in the front (also supports a 240mm radiator) for powerful airflow. Supports a tower CPU coolers up to 180mm tall and high-end VGA up to 334mm long. Supports up to 4 HDD or SSDs by removable HDD cages. Motherboard tray can be removed to install, remove or swap components. Dual USB 3.0 Super Speed ports and X-Dock slots in the front for Lightning fast plug-n-play I/O.     This Thing is a beast! I love this case. I needed a new desktop PC because until now I was gaming on a laptop. I purchased this case because I needed one with enough room for my ICE Giant CPU cooler and I needed to install it vertically. I hate water cooling, call me old fashioned.Pros:1. Compact and perfect for the area I need to put it.2. Very roomy, has enough space for all the things I need, GPU, CPU Fan, Case Fans and more.3. I don't use them but it has Hot Swap slots for removable HDs.4. Front ports are great with Audio and USB Access for my mouse/KB receivers.5. Lives up to the name Cooler Master! Ventilation is great wit plenty of air flow to keep my PC cool.Cons: Not too many cons on this product.1. I wish it had USB-C port on the front just like standard USB2 and maybe a port for SD reader.2. When it's off, the power button is a bit hard to see against the black case, maybe if it came with a replaceable button face in red as an option?3. I hear this model of case is no longer in production and it's a shame if this is true because I would love to see any more improvements they could make on this design.

    I have purchased and used a number of these Cooler Master HAF XB EVO cases. I have built and worked on computers for over 25 years. I have lost track of how many custom gaming computers I have built over the years.

    I have used some of the best cases on the planet but this Cooler Master HAF XB EVO is my favorite for a number of reasons...

    1. Built like a tank!
    2. Incredible high air flow possibilities keeps my systems cool, cool, cool!
    3. Super easy to work on!
    4. Works well as a test bench!
    5. Works well as a LAN box!
    6. Lots of room on the inside [I hate cramped cases]!
    7. PSU with it's heat is separated from your sensitive components!
    8. Motherboard tray is removable for installation peace of mind and safety!
    9. Allows for super tall air CPU coolers if you are in to that [I only use water cooled]!
    10. It is the easiest and safest ATX computer case to carry [rugged handles that are impossible to break]!

    I could go on an on, but I am out of time! Just buy one and find out for yourself!

    Cons:

    1. Possible destruction of components by liquid!

    If you are gonna keep this baby on the ground and you drink coffee, tea, soda, etc. nearby, then you gotta put some type of shield on top of the case to avoid accidently spilling liquid through the large top vent which could lead to your curly hair becoming super straight! Most of these Cooler Master HAF XB EVO's I place under a desk or far away from people that would drink liquids above and nearby this case. If you insist upon drinking liquids nearby and above the case, simply install an horizontal shield over the top vent, leaving at least an inch under the shield for air flow.

    2. Weight

    If you are a total wimp with super skinny arms and no muscle, then this monster is not for you...especially if you plan on taking it to LAN parties! So either purchase a lightweight case or start working out at the gym!

    3. Appearances

    If you are drawn to and attracted to the super elegant, super delicate looking rigs then look elsewhere! This sucker is made more for soldiers and brutes!

The case is compact enough to fit in a large suitcase, yet spacious enough to fit a water cooling unit and hoses with room to spare. I absolutely love the removable motherboard mount. It made transferring my hardware an absolute joy! Please allow me to list more things I adore about this case:

    1. There are TWO removable hot swap docks for memory storage which can accommodate HDD's and SDD's, as well as hidden permanent storage space.
    2. There are so many cable tie mounts that cable management is a breeze!
    3. Compact yet spacious design. Perfect for travelling

    This case is well made and well designed. The removable motherboard try is a nice feature. There is an abundance of room for just about anything you want to put in here. I specifically chose this case for the horizontal mounting of the mobo so I could use the MSI Frozer XL air cooler. I like the option to add DVD drive or other 5.25 devices. The "hot-swappable" bays are nice as well. There is also an internal bay for additional hard drive installation. The one weird thing is the power supply cage. I wish there was a flat plate to mount instead of the "box" that comes with the case. It partially obstructs the fan on the bottom of the PSU. Otherwise, I absolutely love this case even with it's larger than normal footprint.

    Cooler Master HAF XB II EVO Surpassed my expectations.

    This is a well thought out case with excellent build quality. Even the shipping box carrying openings line up with the handles of the case inside so when I transported my PC in the original box I had something solid to grab onto.. It was easy to install components with lots of room to work with removable mobo tray and open design. It has a solid feel and the fit and finish is excellent.

    Criticisms:
    It is a big case and it could easily be 25mm to 40mm (1 to 1.5 inches) narrower without sacrificing usability because there is way more space beside the mobo tray than needed to route wires. This extra space serves no purpose I can think of other than for wires. Lian Li had a full size cube case that was quite a bit smaller.

    It would be really nice if there was an optional flat top cover without a grill to reduce unnecessary height and to make it more suitable for putting things on. Not everyone needs to install a large liquid cooling radiator and the case is so well vented anyway the top grill is not. It is the same standard width as a home stereo equipment and I wanted to put my 5.1 receiver on top but can't because of the bulge.

    Theres no filters for the front fans so dust is blown into the case.

    Grandísima caja en todos los sentidos. Buena ventilación, poco ruido, muy muy espaciosa, y eso de no tener que desmontar completamente la caja para añadir un disco duro o lector de CD es una gozada. Pocos tornillos (los discos duros van con clips con gomas para evitar vibraciones), buena estética y un acabado genial. Totalmente recomendable.

    Il case ha una qualità costruttiva davvero eccellente, è quasi tutto in metallo inoltre è perfettemente modulabile. All'interno ha una struttura a due piani che consente di installare sul primo piano la scheda madre e tutti i componenti mentre nel piano sottostante buttare tutti i cablaggi in modo da avere un interno sempre ordinato e facile da pulire. Molto comodi i cassetti per gli HD da 3,5 (ne entrano 2) inoltre sono presenti 4 alloggiamenti per HD da 2,5. Presenta gia due ventole sul frontale da 120mm inoltre potete montarne altre 2 dietro da 120mm,altre due da 80mm sotto per raffreddare gli HD e una sul coperchio da 200mm.Unica nota le porte USB frontali sono 3.0 quindi la vostra scheda madre deve avere il connettore per porte 3.0 oppure dovrete procurarvi un adattatore da 3.0 a 2.0
