Product Description

The FSP Hydro PTM Pro series offers high efficiency and longevity to your PC build. Our proprietary conformal coating protects the power supply from dust, humidity, stains, and harsh environments. The Hydro PTM Pro has been designed to reliably operate at a relative humidity of up to 95%. It also features a semi-fanless eco mode that will suspend fan operation until the load has exceeded 30%. This feature can be controlled with the simple flick of a switch located next to the on/off button for easy access. This model also includes fully modular black ribbon cables for DIY enthusiasts looking to create cleaner builds. The FSP Hydro PTM Pro is a top-of-the-line power supply that delivers function, efficiency, and style making it a great addition to any system.

The Hydro PTM PRO series comes with 80 Plus Platinum Certification, which means the power supply produces less heat and has a lower operating cost. The power supply is guaranteed to operate at a minimum of 92% efficiency at 50% load of PSU rated power.

Conformal Coating

The Hydro PTM PRO series is covered with a conformal coating that protects it from dust, stains, and humidity. The conformal coating is guaranteed to offer better and reliable performance in harsh environments and is tested to work in environments up to 95% relative humidity.

Eco Switch

The Hydro PTM PRO series offers an Eco Switch that allows the PSU to operate quieter and uses up less power consumption. When the power supply is equal to or less than 30% load, the power supply enters a silent state and the fan is turned off.

Well if their motto is "Power never ends" don't believe it. I had this power supply for less then two weeks running a celeron 3950, 8GB of ram on a H110 gigabyte motherboard with 1 SSD, a 6900xt and a rx580. Pulling less then 550 watts this "1200w 80 plus titanium" PSU should of been able to handle the load. Sadly it didn't and was returned promptly. I went with a 1200w Thermaltake and never looked back. Don't cheap out on your PSU luckily this PSU just died but it could have been worse.
