Perfect for a home office!

Purchased this as a surprise Christmas gift for my husband since he was always wishing to put together an office since we've just moved into our new home. He does a lot from home so I knew that he needed a few new monitors. For the price, I believe it stacks up better than the ASUS VS248H-P. Refresh rate is pretty amazing though it's only 60hz and the bezel is so thin making it perfect for having multiple monitors mounter next to one another. Also, unlike some other electronic companies, LG customer service has been amazing with providing us with support!

With over 7 months of daily usage ( around 8 hours per day) these monitors have been perfect for my husband! Also, I love the fact that these monitors are energy saving. I've compared our monthly bill current and prior and we're currently saving over $8 a month just by upgrading to these!
Overall, I highly recommend this monitor or daily usage. It doesn't have the best refresh rate or highest amount of pixels, but the monitor itself wins on it's own from it's low cost, being lightweight, easily mountable on a vesa mount, reliability, and surprisingly great image quality!

This is a good monitor.

Having said that, I gave it four stars for two reasons...

1. The power cord is only five feet long. In order to plug it into my system, I had to get an extension cord.

2. The inputs on the back face straight out instead of downward flush with the monitor. I mention this because it's VESA mountable, and with the cables poking straight out instead of downward, you can't get the monitor flush against the wall. It's a minor design oversight.

Bought 2 monitors to upgrade home office to support ergonomic design. Monitors are sleek and easy to attach to vesa mounts on monitor stand. The unit 24M47VQ was supposed to come with HDMI cable but only came with DVI-D cables. The power cords are not that long so it will be challenging to use on varidesk monitor stand but will need to raise up plugs off floor. Also the clip for the base stand cannot be removed but did not interfere with attaching to monitor arms. Overall, good quality monitors for less than $100 each. Picture and colors are bright and clear. Overall good purchase for home office.

Been working from home since March 2020 due to the pandemic. Was not really setup to WFH and purchased a set of two smaller 20" monitors. INSTANTLY hated it since I have 22" monitors at the office. Did not want to spend a lot of larger monitors. Waited a while until I found a good deal. These were a great buy. Cheaper than most monitors of equivalent size. Additionally, they look great. I defiantly recommend installing the LG drivers and the software. It will allow for you to be able to adjust the monitors from your desktop via the application. A must have for anyone having to work from home that is accustomed to dual monitors.

I was struggling with getting the screens I had been using to fit my information to where I could read the print decently on websites. Was constantly scrolling up and down to see a picture and read what was under it. This has solved all my issues. It is quite large on my desk which was a bit of a shocker coming from the smaller screen but I love the monitor. As others have stated, holy brightness batman. The monitor had enough light coming from it to lighten an entire room. The presets were neat and I can see them being handy if you got used to the muted looks etc. I LOVE that it resizes the windows as you move them so instead of stretching or wrapping stuff the information on the page fits. I've been looking for that option since my dell all in one died. I cannot speak to lag and refresh and resolution as I don't pay much attention to any of that. However, for the ordinary user this is a fantastic screen. If you are hung up on specs and what they do maybe not so much. Quite the upgrade to the standard monitors as far as I'm concerned and beats expectations if you are one of the users that just wants to use the computer and not worry about which cables, and how much resolution and pixels and refresh rate. I am quite happy with the monitor.
