I have friends who have used Corsair PSUs for years and have never experienced a failure or fault, so it's odd that so many here seem to be experiencing such.
Needless, to say, I fully recommend this product if you want enough power to provide for any gaming build with a good amount of headroom for future hardware that may consume more power.
Note: Some new Ryzen boards come with a PD_12v_PWR ports (My board is a ASUS Crosshair X670E) and this PSU does not include the adapter for this plug, Although it's not necessary to power the board. The port is used to supply the front panel with 60 watt charging vs 24 watt without it.
My only complaint with this power supply was with the provided power cable. Rather than providing a 3 pin grounded power cable, a 2 pin power cable with a grounding wire was provided (picture provided). Not really a problem since I have lots of 3 pin power cables, but why include such a specialized cable that won't work with most household outlets. If someone were to make the mistake of using this cable on a standard household plug and didn't connect the ground wire, it would present a fire hazard. There are a lot of reviews stating that the power supply stopped working or burned out components on their motherboard. I suspect that this may be the reason.

850x is more than I require, but this is also future proofing as I intend to be using this psu for a decade or so. Its fully modular, meaning you can only attach the wires you need, which eases the strain of the cable management chaos. I have 4 cables attached to power the cpu, gpu, sata sdd backups and of course all the rgb modules on the back panel). Great, quiet and modular psu backed by Corsairs legendary quality.

1. None Noted: The Corsair RM750x 750 Watt 80+ Gold Power Supply has met all expectations, and there are no reported drawbacks or issues during use.
In conclusion, the Corsair RM750x 750 Watt 80+ Gold Power Supply stands out as a top-tier PSU, providing quiet and efficient power delivery for high-performance systems. Its 80+ Gold certification, fully modular design, and zero RPM fan mode make it an ideal choice for users seeking a reliable and silent power solution.
With no reported drawbacks and widespread user satisfaction, I confidently rate the Corsair RM750x 750 Watt 80+ Gold Power Supply with a perfect five stars. Power your system with confidence using this premium and efficient power supply - an essential component for any PC build or upgrade!
The RMx 1KW operates silently under any load, delivering power as expected without any performance issues. It even resolved strange OS-level freezes that I was encountering. Corsair's reputation for quality is well-deserved, and my 10-year-old PC still relies on an AX1200 from Corsair, which has been a reliable workhorse.
The only minor drawback I noticed was a temporary chemical smell during the initial usage period. However, this is expected from a brand new product, and the smell completely dissipated after a couple of days of heavy usage. If you are sensitive to odors, I recommend ensuring good ventilation in the area during the first few days. Nonetheless, this minor inconvenience does not warrant a deduction in my rating.
Overall, I highly recommend investing in a quality power supply like the Corsair RMx 1KW, as it delivers exceptional performance and operates silently, making it worth the additional cost compared to budget options.
