Emotional computer power supply, EVGA Supernova 750 G3 Gold power
There was a time when we used to say that 300W power is huge when assembling a computer. It became a story of a tiger cigarette, and now, a large amount of computer power supplies are being released in excess of 1000W.Power supplies are evolving as more and more power-hungry components like graphics cards are used, and if you're using a GeForce GTX1080 or higher graphics card, you're likely to recommend over 550 watts of power. Now, however, power can not be simply evaluated in watts. The number of watts listed in the power supply simply means maximum power, and in fact, you need to consider a number of factors including how steady and steady power is supplied, internal cooling performance, and noise.Fortunately, there are 80Plus standards to help consumers make their choice. The 80Plus is a type of certification that affixes power supplies that are more than 80% efficient.80Plus is again divided into Standard, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Titanium grades. The higher the rating, the higher the efficiency. 80Plus grades will be introduced in detail in other postings. The high efficiency power means that less power is wasted, and the durability and reliability of parts are high. That's why even the same power is more expensive if the 80Plus rating is higher. However, if you are a general computer user, you do not need to purchase a product that has an extremely high output and a high 80Plus rating. Once you have a standard or Bronze rating, you can use it.However, if you are overclocking or using high performance graphics cards in parallel (SLI), it is a good idea to purchase a product with high output and a high 80Plus rating. It is especially important to purchase a proven branded power supply. My PC is actually 750W, which is not a system that requires 80Plus Gold grade power. EVGA, a hardware manufacturer in the United States, makes it easier to select a power supply because the web site allows you to see how much power you need for your system.I have enough 500W of Bronze power. -_- ;;;But I sang the EVGA Supernova 750 G3 Gold power supply. It's cheap on Amazon! And thanks for asking. The total purchase price was around $ 129,If you want to buy a 750W gold grade power supply in Korea, you have to pay more than 200,000 won. Thanks to the weight of the product, shipping costs are expensive. The packaging of the product consists of the following. There is a huge 130mm fan located at the bottom. When it actually works, the noise is quite small. In fact, EVGA does not manufacture power supplies directly. It is said that the famous power supply manufacturer's products are supplied as OEM type, and it is said that they are supplied with products such as super flower and sisonic. The 750 G3 Gold I bought is known as the Superflight product OEM, the famous power supply manufacturer in Taiwan. The power cable connector is fully modular, making it very easy to line up.On the rear, there is a power switch and an eco mode switch. When Eco mode is turned on, the fan automatically operates according to the temperature. Normally it is stopped and the noise is reduced.Power cable is fully prepared. I like how much it is treated with sleeving. Of course, buying a full sleeving cable will make it easier to clean up, but that seems to be enough. The EVGA mark is also printed on the cable, so you can feel the emotion (!).This is a comparison with the existing SuperFlow Ridex Gold 750W power. It is a little smaller in size. Among the power supplies with 750W output, EVGA G3 belongs to the smallest axis. For reference, the Superflow Ridex Gold Power comes with LEDs on the connector. It's pretty pretty, but it does not seem to be very useful in cases with power supply covers like my PC.It is a power cable that connects to the main board, but it does not have a capacitor in the connector as it is known. Check out the cable picture with the capacitor through Google search.I am glad I was afraid there might be a capacitor in this way.My PC case had a power cover, so I could not shoot it. There was no great difficulty in installing it, and it seemed to work well because I can not hear fan noise or high frequency sound. I am not worried about EVGA because I can easily A / S with RMA.Perhaps EVGA products will be re-launched by EMT and supply power supply. Let's take a look at how much we can compete with FSP, Sysonic and Superflow, which are power supply companies.

So I have had this Power Supply two years now. I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse. It was listed as Used - Like New. And boy was it. It was brand new in the box and hasn’t been opened. The box just had a minor scratch/ding if you would even call it that. Product came just as if I got it new and I only paid 74.99!!! I have the EVGA G3 Supernova 850 Watt 80+ Gold version. Wow this thing is amazing. Fully modular, braided cables, 80+ gold, very very nice box, comes with a case for the PSU itself as well as a case for the extra cables. If you look up google reviews on this PSU you will see how amazing it is. 10 year warranty says it all. In testing they found out that EVGA could have listed this as a 1000 watt platinum rated power supply. It took over 1050 watts to shut this thing off! By far the best PSU I have ever owned. I’ve had it for two years and not had a single issue ever. I’ve never heard it once till this day. It runs so cool and quiet I had to check and make sure the fan was working. I’m not easy on it either. I have an Asus Prime X570 - PRO motherboard with an 8pin plus 4 pin cpu power. My system has a Ryzen 3900X overclocked, RTX 2070 Super massively overclocked, 32GB of G.Skill 3600mhz Ram, 6 case fans, a PCIe wifi 6/BT 5.0 wireless adapter card, one HDD, 3 sata SSDs, and two NVMe M.2 SSDs. My CPU cooler is a huge Noctua NH-D15 with twin 140mm fans as well. I provided some pics but that was before I upgraded the case, GPU, and CPU cooler. In this pics the GPU is a GTX 1070 and Hyper 212 Evo cooler with twin 120 fans. My PC also has a optical drive, NZXT LED touchscreen that controls my temps and fans, a portable SSD, headset, keyboard, mouse, sound system, microphone, RGB gaming desk, Xbox One controller, duel monitors, and other things plugged in still. I have tons of things being powered by this Power Supply and my PC is on and running anywhere from 5 to 10 hours a day, everyday. I can’t praise this PSU enough. Once again I got this 850 watt, 80+ Gold, fully modular, 10 year warranty EVGA G3 Supernova for 74.99! I can’t stress how amazing of a deal that is for the PSU I now have. I would def pay full price for this. A PSU of this quality that will last you 10 years at the very minimum. You can’t beat that imo. Plus its completely silent, runs cool, looks super nice, and the cables are very high quality. 850 watts is enough to power whatever 99% of most people would ever need. I have between 3-4000 dollars in my PC now and it’s a beast. I don’t even come close to using 850 watts. If you catch this PSU in stock and most definitely if you catch it on sale buy it instantly! 11/10 from me. Before this I had a Corsair 750 watt PSU and this unit blows it out of the water in every way possible. EVGA fan for sure now. So much that my RTX 2070 Super is EVGA and it looks and runs just as nice as this Power Supply and comes with the same fantastic warranty(even tho I voided it on the card lol). Just buy it.

I was a little worried due to some of the highlighted lower reviews about damage to CPUs or MB. I went ahead and took what I considered at the time to be a risk because my old PSU's fan was dying on me (And that probably meant it was nearing its end anyway). I'm glad I went ahead with this purchase and my PC is running smoothly and quietly.
    ---

The contents include the PSU itself, the cables listed in the information page, a soft storage case for the PSU and cables. The storage case itself I was surprised by because it felt over the top at first, and then I remembered that small details like that are nice, even if a little extra. All-in-all, everything was where it was supposed to be.

    ---

My complaints more involve installation itself and it's mostly gripes about cable management in general. The cables are pretty stiff and that is both good durability wise and frustrating installation-wise. That said, the modular aspect of this made it less painful overall as I only needed to pick out the cables I needed. I saved a bit of space and time because of that.

    ---

For the critical issues people have run into, they worth taking into consideration since it can threaten expensive parts of your build. If you make this purchase, have a precaution checklist: Am I using the correct cable for the wall socket (Use the provided thick cable or similar; flat cables may not work)? Am I using the cables provided? Are my cables and connections secure? Have I read the manual to make sure I've done the installation properly and reviewed other cautions the company has included in the manual? Did I buy from a reputable seller? And the one that may draw a frown: Do I have the funds to replace parts in the event of failure?

If your PC is your baby and the highlighted critical reviews worry you, make sure you have back up plans.

I purchased a RX580 video card and after installation, my computer would just start randomly rebooting while I was gaming. I'd always thought that my 600W PSU would be enough for pretty much anything but it turned out that the single rail was not supplying anywhere near enough power for this card and the rest of my computer at the same time.

Of note: I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching this online trying to figure out if my card was bad, FURMARK and everything tested fine under load but in the middle of Witcher 3 or Dead by Daylight the computer would just reboot for no reason. The answer is the PSU, folks. It seems that a lot of cheaper PSUs are served by a single 12v rail and even though it says "600W" on the sticker, having access to it all at the same time miiight not be exactly possible. If the card is a tad power hungry (like my 580) it may be a case of the card drawing more power and taking it away from other things that need it. Like your motherboard. Anyway, that's what I've learned from my copious amounts of research, hopefully, if anyone else is having this problem you'll stumble onto this review and it'll help you get to the bottom of it.

For my part, now that I had the answer, I could either get a new video card, or get a new PSU... so I went PSU and I went big. The 10 year warranty and 850W overhead are probably overkill but I like that I'm not going to have to worry about power issues again for the foreseeable future. That I also managed to buy this model for only about $5 more than the 650W model (yay, sale!) helps the medicine go down a whole lot smoother.

Installation was straightforward and easy, they give you a TON of cables in the box and a separate bag to keep the leftovers in, so that's nice. Everything is clearly labelled and snaps in securely at both ends... no complaints there.

My only little quibble comes from the SATA power connector cables where the connectors themselves extend out quite a bit from the connector ports which makes it quite difficult to daisy-chain them effectively with one cable and still close the backside of my case. I ended up having to use two separate cables, each using 2 out of the 3 connectors in order to make it work. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you don't have a lot of space to play around with inside your case.
