- Incompatible with HTC 10, HP Spectre, Dell XPS series laptop, Dell Venue series laptop, Asus series laptops / tablets, as well as Lenovo ThinkPad 470s and ThinkPad X1 tablets. Some USB-C laptops which require an input over 30W may not be compatible.
- Does not support high-speed charging for MacBook Pro, Samsung W700, Lumia 950, or Motorola Z Force Droid Edition.
- Press the LED Power Wheel before connecting your device to activate USB-C output.
- Nintendo Switch will not charge when connected via HDMI.
- Not compatible with devices with an input below 50mA (e.g. some Bluetooth headsets and GPS devices).

On my iPhone X I measured this charging it at almost 18 watts! With this much charging power, it can take an iPhone 8/X/XS/XR from 1% battery to 50% battery in 30 minutes. The charger is literally so fast that if you're about to head out the door but your iPhone is dead, just letting it charge for 6 minutes is enough to take it from 1% to 15% battery. That's just about all I need if I'm heading out for an evening beer! Though the charging speed slows down as the battery gets full, it's good that you get the fastest charge rate when you need it the most. (You won't get 18W charging when your phone is at 90%, it slows down to ~8W-10W then but this can't be helped)
(Nerdy photo explanation: In my photo, you can see my USB-C power meter measuring the power output from the battery as it charges my iPhone X. It's at 8.81 volts and 1.91 amps of current. Multiplying voltage and current gives you power so this means the photo is showing 16.8W of charging power. I've also seen it get even closer to a maximum of 18W, and I've seen it do 27W when charging a MacBook. The higher voltage you're seeing is only possible with USB-C PD and is higher than the normal USB 5 volts. The 2.4 amps of current older USB-A batteries can provide sounds impressive but they are actually providing less power/slower charging overall since they're limited to 5 volts. )
Your typical USB-A charger can only get up to 12watts (5v/2.4A), so getting 18watts is a 50% speed improvement that I really appreciated. To take advantage of this on an iPhone you need the USB-C to Lightning cable that only Apple sells. If you use the standard USB-A iPhone cable it'll certainly charge fast (12W max on Anker batteries, 5W on the free Apple charger), but not as fast as possible.
Stepping back a bit, this battery has the solid Anker build quality and features I've come to expect and the metal case feels particularly nice. The included 30W USD-C PD wall charger is also solid and it's great they include this since you'll need a USB-C charger to charge this battery. (Though any good USB-C charger works). The wall charger itself deserves good reviews since I've seen it perform better than cheaper chargers that claim to have the same ratings.
I love the extra "resolution" you get on how much battery charge you have left compared to other models. If you're feeling around in your bag for the battery this button has a nice tactile feel that makes it easy to find and press if you can't see the whole battery.
It also works great as a charger for the recent Thunderbolt/USB-C MacBooks, though remember this only provides 30W max of charging power. This means it will always charge your computer while closed and usually when its open, but if you're doing something on the laptop that requires a lot of power (any intense computing), the 30W it provides might now be enough to stop all battery drain, though it'll definitely slow it down and make your laptop last quite a bit longer. Since overall this battery pack stores 96 watt-hours it can fully recharge a MacBook Pro battery (which is 54 to 58 watt-hours) about 1.5 times, but since its maximum power output is 30W, it'll just charge your laptop a bit slower than the 61W Apple power adapter. Still pretty impressive for a mobile battery pack!
The USB-C battery/charger world is still very nascent and sometimes confusing to customers and this has made it easy for duplicitous companies to misrepresent their products and just hope that us customers are too dumb and uninformed to notice the difference. I tried buying a cheap USB-C charger and USB-C battery pack from different no-name companies off Amazon, and after testing, they both failed to live up their marketing. Anker leads the way for trustworthiness and quality.
In short, this is THE BEST iPHONE or USB-C PD battery bank out there! It's one of the very few out there that can truly Fast Charge an iPhone at 18W. If you have a USB-C device, get this one!

Let's face it, power banks have been around for years. Long enough in fact that they have become swag gifts from trade show booths. That said, the Anker product is a pretty serious chunk of power supply.
It is important to note that you may find both PD (Power Delivery) and non-PD versions of Anker power banks, this review is on the PD version.
I use the Anker 26800 PD to recharge my mirrorless camera while I drive from one location to the next. I use it to keep my Samsung Note 10 topped off when it hits 50%. I've even powered my laptop or tablet when it was about to poop out half way through a flight across country.
Out of the three situations above, only while driving in my car or in a plane am I not close to a wall outlet where I could charge normally. (Many planes now offer charging plugs at each seat).
The Anker is big and heavy, you probably won't carry it around unless you know you will be away from wall outlets. Though reasonably compact, at 1 pound 10 ounces it's not a pocketable item (unless you wear both belt and suspenders I guess). A common USB wall charger weighs in at 3 ounces, 3 1/2 ounces with the USB cable. At 1/8th the weight of the Anker, and at a fraction of the price, wall chargers should be a default option for any traveler.
Those are the downsides, how about the positives?
It really, really works.
If you have had thumb-sized power banks in the past you probably have suffered through a mind numbingly slow phone recharge. The 26800 PD recharges my phone as quickly as the manufacturer's fast charger. My camera batteries recharge in-camera from flat to full in an hour or so. My iPad can run for hours hooked up to the PD. The Anker 26800 PD itself fully recharges from a wall socket in four hours.
Power stored in the 26800 PD 'ages' pretty well, I often charge or power several devices across four to six weeks without needing to recharge the 26800 PD itself. Please note that to fully charge the 26800 PD you have to use the wall charger with its USB C cord.
I wouldn't have purchased any power bank but the 26800 PD was on sale during a 'Today's Deals' offer. I had heard a lot of positive feedback on this particular manufacturer and this specific model on photography forums, so I purchased it. Having had the experience of using the 26800 PD for several months now, I'd buy a second one at full price (which is quite reasonable).
