The keycaps are beautiful and I love the design. The preset color patterns are nice and easy to use. Most of the keys feel very nice to press but it's difficult to know exactly when the actuate. The actuation seems to occur near the top of the keypress.
My only complaint so far is the keyboard does not work perfectly with a mac in bluetooth mode. I knew the keyboard's software wouldn't work on OS, but what's frustrating is it doesn't seem to be possible to swap the functionality of the alt and windows key while in bluetooth mode. I bought this keyboard intending to keep it plugged into my PC, while using it with my mac over bluetooth so this kind of ruins the use case I was hoping for. The keys can be swapped just fine with the keyboard is connected to the mac with the wire.
Other notes:
-The ~ key requires a specific keypress sequence of SHIFT, then Fn, then ESC. If you press FN first, you'll get `
-In bluetooth mode on a mac, my keypresses are sometimes extremely exaggerated ssoooooo ittt tyyyyyyyyyypes liiike thhhiisss. It's not very common and lasts for a few minutes when it happens.
-If you want to use this keyboard with a different cord, you'll need one that's skinny around the USB-C end. A bulky grip around the input won't fit.
Let's start with the good: the build quality on this thing is fantastic. Some of the best I've ever seen on a keyboard. And it's beautiful to look at, too.
As for typing—it's a nightmare. I had read that there was a problem with the keycaps and that they had fixed them, but I didn't realize that you still needed to special order (for free, although there is no delivery window given and I assume it will take weeks before I get my replacement) the new/better keycaps, and that the boxed version here on Amazon still ships with the original caps. It is *nearly impossible* to type accurately on the default keycaps. I'm someone who can put out 120+ wpm on a laptop keyboard, and nearly as much on a long throw mechanical keyboard. On this thing, after a bunch of practice, I was able to hit 78 without errors. The problem is that the caps are all super close together, and due to the nature of the switch design, you will readily actuate multiple keys at once, so you just end up typing *super* sloppy. Plus, the short throw red switches just feel awful to type on regardless. They are mushy and bleh. No keycap can fix a mediocre switch.
There are also some layout annoyances, like the tiny right shift button, plus a confusingly designed Caps Lock LED which actually indicates that bluetooth is connected (!).
The bluetooth on this thing sucks. It takes 10-15 seconds to connect, compared to my former "unknown Chinese brand" keyboard which would (and still does) connect within a second.
The included software is a nightmare. Good luck actually getting the settings you want to stick, and then attempting to navigate your way through all of the different shortcuts on the keyboard that don't come with any documentation in the box (you have to dig through their website to find it), and even once you know what they do, they don't work half the time anyway. The best part is that as you are changing settings, all sorts of LED sequences on the keyboard light up as if they've some kind of confirmation, but good luck figuring out whatever CM is trying to tell us with these undocumented sequences of lights.
Lastly, the (lack of) angle on the device is bad, especially with the grippy and too-close-together keycaps. It feels like you have to bend your wrist over to properly type in such a fashion as to not constantly double up on keystrokes, which is terrible for your wrist.

pretty keyboard and okay if used wired, but absolutely garbage support/software/Bluetooth
I've been using this keyboard for 2 months now (after some serious troubleshooting). Prior to purchase, I had already read all the terrible reviews around the internet and prepared for the worst but I still managed to be shocked at how bad the overall experience was for this overpriced keyboard. The keyboard itself has decently sized albeit weirdly flat keys, but I can't seem to get used to the small right shift key and always seem to accidentally hit the somewhat large capslock key. I've also seen mention of not being able to access the tilde (~) key but you can do that by pressing Shift + Fn + ` in that order. RGB backlighting and customization is actually nice IF you can get the software working.
Problem #1: After downloading and launching the Cooler Master Portal v1.01 software, it will tell you that it's not connected to the internet. To fix that, it has nothing to do with internet. You will need to turn off the keyboard and plug it in a USB port before launching the Portal again to get the software to work.
Problem #2: I recently got a whole new build with a 10th gen motherboard that has onboard Bluetooth 5.0, and no matter what I do, the keyboard refuses to connect to the computer. Literally every other Bluetooth device is fine, it's just this keyboard that constantly tells me to try again (never found a solution to this, but more on my workaround later).
Problem #3: I created a support ticket on Cooler Master's site about this Bluetooth issue and they replied after a week or so telling me to install their Portal software and update my firmware (which I had already done). I replied that I had already tried that, amongst other possible common solutions to no avail, after which I was ghosted for a good 2 weeks before they replied with a "Do you have other Bluetooth devices? Do they work?". This information was already included in initial ticket. The absolute lack of support from their customer support the final straw that prompted me to write this review.
Now for my Bluetooth workaround. While being ghosted by support, I had searched forums for answers and saw someone who managed to get it working by buying a Bluetooth 4.0 dongle so I purchased one. In order to finally get this keyboard to connect through Bluetooth, I had to plug in the dongle and disable all of my Bluetooth drivers except Low Energy Bluetooth drivers.
For this price, it's ridiculous how unintuitive their software is, how useless their support is, and how I have to buy extra parts in order for the keyboard to work as intended wirelessly.
