Great sound, super comfy, problematic monitoring. 👍
The sound is super. They sound better than many music only headphones I have used. They are very balanced as far as bass and treble. The only reason I can not give it a five star rating is that the monitoring is extremely hard to get right. I am still having problems with that. They are very comfortable and I am having absolutely no problems with this headset and my glasses. I would recommend theses and have to other gamers. Great product for the low price. Oh and the best part is that with the XBOX one controller you do not have to have the audio adapter.

I have the same pair for PC, over 2 years old and they still work perfectly. Have used this pair for the Xbox One X almost daily for a few months now and without a doubt the performance is exactly what I expected it to be.

    - Sound Quality is outstanding
    - Mic Quality is very crisp and clear of static noises
    - Headset adjust to my needs perfectly and the leather cushions block out a good amount of backround noise as well as being very comfortable to wear for hours at a time.

My only issues with this style of headset were for the PC version, the faux leather started to peel away after about 19 months of use. Which was no big deal, bought replacement muffs for $10 from their website, I chose the velour and they are comfortable but they do not have the benefit of cutting out as much background noise as the faux leather muffs, they are also a tad warmer around the ears for obvious reasons due to material differences.

The super long cord for my PC headset also hardened up after about 15 months of use, which was odd but hasn't caused any real issue. Lastly, my mic died on the PC headset around the 21 month mark, also cheap to replace, $10 from their webiste, have had no other issues since.

Since these headsets are basically identical I know that down the road I may need to drop another $20 bucks to keep them going (still under $100 total) but they are worth every penny to me, being such great quality at a price point that's hard to beat imho.

Took me like a month to decide which headphone to get. I've had sony, corsairs, skull brain and Creative Infinity in the past. These are made really well. Strong & comfortable. The sound is clear and high quality. Good bass but not overpowering. Everyone seems to hear me okay, so the mic is working fine and you can detach it if you just want to watch a movie or sumptin. The over the ear pads are soft but not bulky like the corsairs. The sound acoustics is so incredible, sometimes I have to check if the sound is coming from the headphones or if it's live. The mic switch and controller are located on the wire. The 3.5mm jack has four sections (meaning the wire carries both mic and audio). Most PCs have separate jacks for mic and headphone so you might need a splitter. In any case this is a superior brand and if you want to spend more than $30 and less than $250, you're getting a good deal with these. Even though the description says XBOX, it works fine with the PC. Fuggetaboutit.

Great quality mic and headphones. I'm using these for a headset for work. I can tune most of the world out just by putting them on.

I'm using a 12v mixer to mix my voice calls in along with a bluetooth reciever (tablets, phones, laptops), Nintendo Switch and an extra aux... This completed setup has a lot of opportunity for static in my headphones or in my mic to clients. All the pieces that I used (including this headset) were perfect for keeping my voice and all mixed audio very clean.

I can agree with the reviews I based my purchase on. Great value, Great quality mic, Good quality sound. You can of course spend more and get better, but this is amazing value for the money.

Short cable. In-line analog volume wheel and mic mute. All plastic is matte (soft and not shiny). Cord woven plastic with a single stereo + mic headphone size plug - no Y adapter for separated mic and stereo (computer adapter).

This is going to be long, but honest (PROS and CONS at bottom). For gaming they're great for the price, this is coming from a long time Turtle beach user. However, there are some issues. Quality: This headset is like the all-arounder. It has solid build quality, doesn't feel cheap, nice feeling material, good audio, bass, works fantastic with all of my devices and my Xbox one and PS4. So, where's the issue then? The audio quality. It's not loud, even with my mixamp and other devices. For the this price point, there are $50 (even less) Turtle beach headsets with louder and better quality. The audio is good at times and then muffled. It seems like it struggles with the differentiation between chat audio and game or whatever other background audio. Had to keep telling my friends to shhhhh when trying to hear footsteps on Battlefield 5.

So, where it lacks in full on audio quality, it makes up for it in overall build quality and comfort. Which takes me to my next point. Comfort: It's great. I game for long, long sessions at a time or listen to music, a lot. So I need a headset that doesn't make my head hot, doesn't squeeze my head or hurt that bone part of my ears. I've used Turtle Beaches because of comfort with the larger ear cushions. Even though these looks small, they're soft yet firm at the same time. Usually companies make them super soft leather, but filled with air it seems. These are that soft leather feel, yet a little squishy at the start, then firm. There is also thick padding between the speaker and your ear but not thick enough to muffle audio. The headset is also decently flexible, meaning you don't have to be super delicate with it. Now I'm not saying to go play football with it, but you get what I mean.

One thing I would like to warn people of:
We all have different shaped heads, lol, so there is no twisting of the earcups. Once they are on, they are on the same way for everyone. They are very comfortable for me, but maybe for someone that needs one or two of the earcups to be offset, this is not going to do it. Which will be uncomfortable and leave gaps so you will not be getting that noise cancelling.

Now, the noise cancelling. Is great. Although I'm sad no one can hear my awesome music of what sounds like Satan being summoned from the underworld. Good news though, I can no longer hear people yelling at me to turn it down.

So overall for the price would I recommend them over pretty much everything else here? yes. Because of the overall quality. I use them mainly for my Xbox One and my PS4. They're great, good looking, not overly flashy like most headsets feel they have to be. If you're someone like me who valued quality, and would prefer it over some flashy features, then this is the mid range-ish headset that's really good.

Some small details I'd like to add:
The cables going from the earcups to the headband are braided. Nice bit of extra quality and the small touches mean they put time into the design.

The headband will twist a bit giving some flex to the structure.

There's no static or distorted audio when using the audio wheel with the inline controls. They are quality, the wheels has a nice rotation but not loose so your shirt doesn't grab and lower your audio on you. That's is a very small detail that I wish other companies would do. I don't know if it was intentional, but very pleased. I enjoy laying down some times and playing games. The cord some times goes in between my body and arm and when you turn your head, you pull the cord. Causing the audio wheel to turn when grabbed. This didn't do that at all.

MASSIVE WARNING: DO NOT GET YOUR FINGERS CAUGHT BETWEEN THE EARCUPS AND ALUMINUM. Wow, the metal is pretty sharp and you may panic and they lock down onto your fingers. Was not expecting that.

    PROS:
    Affordable
    Comfortable
    Durable
    Good audio
    Good build quality
Works with anything with a 3.5mm headphone jack
    Fantastic noise cancelling
    Great mic quality
Extremely light in terms of weight
    Braided cables are always nice
Volume wheel has some tension so won't grab on your clothing messing up your audio.
Noise cancelling for you and those around you. If you have a loud air conditioner or loud people around, this headset will help. My AC is about 5 feet from me and a larger one. It's loud, with this headset I only hear a slight hum. Once I'm playing or watching something or even talking to people, I don't hear it anymore.

    CONS:
Not the loudest speakers (They are like those old speakers that take some time to get warn in before you get the full audio quality. Took me about 1 day of normal usage. So roughly 6 yours or so)
Non twistable earcups so won't work for some head shapes.
EXTREMELY SHARP aluminum on the earcups with nothing to stop you from almost losing a finger. I'm a grown man, it almost broke skin. If it were a small child, that would have not been so good. So please be careful with your fingers.
The noise cancelling, yes yes, how could it be a con you say? It works too well some times. My family literally has to be in my room next to me screaming for me to hear them. So, if you like to play in a war zone or the in-laws are in town, these will be great for you.

All in all, it's a good headset and worth the price. I'll update this if anything should change, but as of right now it's a solid, quality headset for people who want something nice, but don't want to spend $300 on a headset.

Thank you for your time, and sorry for typos and grammatical errors.

Be safe in these times everyone.

Edit: After 2 months of solid use, the headset is not built the strongest. I'm already having issues with static. My friends hear static when I touch or move the Mic boom. It's extremely loud and awful. The speakers have also lost their bass. If you aren't a hardcore gamer, these should be fine. But if you're an every day gamer, avoid.

One complaint. It sometimes lets me talk and sometimes doesn’t when I’m in a party online on the Xbox and I can hear my friends fine but my audio doesn’t playback. I have to restart my console to fix it and then it works again. It’s minor and rare but otherwise they work amazing, loud and super comfortable. I use them as headphones for my phone also with an adapter. Highly recommended especially this wired version because wireless ones die fast. You don’t have to worry about that with this. To plug the mic in and take it off is easy as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars For a $80 headset, they surpass expectations!
Reviewed in Canada on November 25, 2020
For $80, you get a GREAT set of gaming headphones. I've been using these for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love them. They are as advertised when it comes to comfort. I can use these for hours without feeling soreness in my ears, like some headphones cause. I love how the microphone is detachable so that if it breaks, I can spend $20 for a new one instead of another $90. It is also really sturdy for a detachable microphone. This leads me to the build quality. It is really good for its value. The cuffs are thick-feeling leather-like with matted (I think tough plastic) backs. The frame is made of a thick quality medal that passes over the head holding the cuffs on each side. It feels like quality in the hands. The part that sits on the head is breaded with leather-like material and the cushion is very soft and memory-foam like.

The quality of sound is very good. A bit too much bass (just a tad) for gaming, in my opinion. But the mid-to-high frequencies are decent. The buzzing due to volume or low pitch are minimal to zero.

    Summary of Pro:
    - solid build
-Great sound quality, satisfactory noise cancellation, and minimal sound bleeding for its pricetag
    - replaceable mic (quality of which is 'okay')
    -Perfect wire length

    Summary of Cons:
    - Non-detachable wire. If it breaks, headphones are done!
    - Slightly too much bass for gaming. Great for Netflix, YouTube, etc. casual use.
-Max volume is great, but not perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars These are awesome headphones!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 20, 2021
First off, I got these from Amazon Warehouse and they arrived in perfect working order, or so I thought. The reason I mention this is because even though these are super headphones, and I will write a pros and cons list, they did break and I can only imagine they slipped through the net.

Now, as for the headphones when they functioned, my thoughts are as follows:

    Pros:
    - Excellent sound! They really are great for music and even gaming. They have deep, rich sound with excellent bass and overall just a lovely and warm sound that made me happy when I was listening to them.
    - Great noise cancelation/isolation
    - Good mic. It's not excellent but it does a good job with team chat and the like.
    - Despite the in-line audio issue I had, the build is of great quality and feels premium. It actually feels like a pair of much more expensive headphones. My daily driver Philips Fidelio X2HR's are of extremely good quality (as you would expect) and these are close in many areas.
    - Comfort is fantastic and they have leather everywhere which is lovely to see, especially now.

    Cons:
    - The mic, though good is not great and can seem a bit muffled.
    - The in-line audio can be unreliable.
    - They are not what I'd call large headphones and seeing as my head is larger than is normal at over 64cms I found them to be a bit of a tight fit. This would not be an issue for anyone with a smaller head than mine though.

Conclusion: These are excellent headphones for an insanely good price! They seem to use a standard jack arrangement as well so if you were looking to save some money and don't mind them being a different colour, go for the cheapest ones you can find.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top Headset
Reviewed in Germany on October 29, 2020
