Case went together easily, came with great fitting heatsinks, I set it all up using my PC desk monitor, then unplugged it from the monitor and moved it to a closet out of the way and let it do its thing over WiFi. I am able to connect to it through SSH and couldn't be happier with the performance. Happy to report after using it for a few days that everything is snappy and instant. The fan is super quiet — I think I could get away without even needing one as the components never warm up much.
Oh, one hiccup was the the Fan instructions show the wrong pins to use, but the Raspberry instructions show the correct pins. Not sure why the seller is still allowing this contradiction to make it to the customer. Ive seen this has been an issue for quite some time while reading through the reviews. Kind of a big deal when instructions are just plain wrong, but the hardware works so well that I am overlooking it. I hope to get many years out of this little device.
All in all 7/10, it’s a good kit, I’d recommend it to someone that actively needs something like this. Good board, good case, solid kit.
This part is for the seller: please update your instructions for the fan snippet if you’re going to include a different/new fan. New users would easily get frustrated even though it’s as easy as a google search. Awesome kit though keep it up!
Edit 8/17/2023: After almost a month I was dumb to realize something, if you want to not have your fan on all the time then instead of plugging your blue pinned wire on the gpio 2 slot plug it in on gpio 14 so the fan can be controlled to turn on after it reaches a certain heat the minimum you can set it to though is 60 degrees C. Sadly with the fan version I received the fan doesn’t not have a quite or extreme mode, just always on or off until your pi gets hot enough. Strongly recommended to get an upgrade for the fan instead of using the new model (that is if you received the 3 pin like me).

All I needed besides this kit was a micro sd card. I used one I already had and my raspberry pi is up and running. It even came with hdmi adapter for one display.
I have it as a NAS Server and ad blocker for my local network and it works great.
Great starting kit. Basic case so my raspberry is not exposed on a table. This little guy is my server now.
Raspberry has WIFI, BT and WIRED connection.
Power cord has an ON/OFF switch, trust me, you need it. It is annoying to have to unplug to power off.
Things to note about the hardware.
* Fan is a little audible on fast setting, so I have it on quiet setting and it's ok. It is not crazy noisy, I just want it quieter.
* It is a little hard to reach some gpio pins, since the case is tight. I do not care about that because I will not be changing much, but keep it in mind.
Side note about Raspberry OS:
I found out that SSH and VNC comes disabled as default in Raspberry OS, so the first boot you do need a screen until you enable it and reboot. This is a software note, not the hardware itself.
Software also benefits from fast SD cards, so put the fastest one you have. It will work with slower ones but faster ones give smoother experience.
