Noise Reduction TechnologyThe design of the panels address noise reduction by inhibiting noise from escaping toward the individual. The 2x200mm fans operate quietly in comparison to the volume of air they move and can operate even quieter by manually controlling the fan speed slider found on the I/O panel. |
Rotatable PCI Bracket WindowThe PCI mounting window can be rotated 90 degrees. This allows the unique ability of mounting graphics card(s) vertically or with more clearance from the glass side panel. *riser cable not included |
Versatile Storage BracketsThe SL600M has versatile brackets that can mount an SSD, HDD, a water pump, or reservoir. These brackets can be placed in multiple positions inside the case, including being placed behind the front panel and on the bottom radiator bracket. |

Product Description
Regarded as one of the highest thermal performing ATX cases for graphics cards, the MasterCase SL600M returns with a brand new black coat applied to award-winning technology; this is the MasterCase SL600M Black Edition. Upon its release, in the original bare anodized aluminum, the SL600M transformed the belief that airflow must follow front-to-back conventions. With two massive 200mm fans mounted on the bottom, airflow travels up and out of the build to assist the natural rise of heat. This results in maintaining a high degree of performance while also keeping systems running as quietly as possible. Designed with sophistication and engineered to perform, the MasterCase SL600M Black Edition is as much a technological marvel as it is aesthetically striking.

BUT this SL600M is my absolute favorite. Very good temps (CPU 30-40 idle, GPU 35-38 idle), and runs so quiet under load too. The lower dust filter is really helps keep the inside clean and is the only place cold air comes from. So, no other intakes to complicate things. The top vents have lots of space. You just have a simple direction for airflow. I'm getting better temps than ever, and has a unique look that doesn't scream GAMER RGB NONSENSE. It's like a sleeper car.
The solid black is really really REALLY cool. My RX 5700 XT Nitro+ SE fits in no problem, and my 360mm RAD on top had no clearance issues. You can fit 6/32 standoffs to raise the top bracket slightly up so it's not super close to the motherboard. Makes the CH6 code display visible.
TL;DR / This case gives me goosebumps and is worth more than you pay for. Build quality is ridiculously good, especially compared to the H500M. But, definitely research this case before buying, just to make sure you have clearance.

Big 200mm fans push lots of air
Build quality is great, it does feel like a premium case. It's heavy, very solid, and a bit of a monolith. It doesn't look like a gaming PC until you switch it on, and not being into the whole 'gaming desk aesthetic' i really like that. it sort of vanishes in with the decor with its finish aluminum panelling
Air flow seems to do what was advertised, and it's only under prolonged load that you really hear everything kick in - even then its more of a background noise than you usually get from a PC with a bunch of fans in full flow. Under idle it's very quiet, even with the 2x 200mm on full and 3x 120mm in the roof, and it's practically silent in a room with any other noise - keeps my 6900xt (horiz) / 5800X (wc) at decent temps, although really the fans are mainly serving the 6900xt . I can't think of many quieter gaming pc cases i've experienced that still keep temps decent but it makes sense given your GPUs fans are being directly fed unobstructed cool air.
Cable routing is pretty great, and practically everything is removable so it's quite managable.
One thing i think i would take it visually up another level would be if somehow the IO panel on the front could be hidden, behind an articulated panel or something. I get what they're going for and the fact it illuminates due to the proximity sensor but equally i barely use those IOs and i'm never doing it in the dark when i do. Would rather hide them 99% of the time, to really emphasise the big slab of metal look.
Seen a few people complain the power input on the back of the case doesn't have a switch as it's an extension to your actual psu. I don't personally see the problem here - just pull the plug out - with the side off your PSU power switch is still accessible should you really wanna insist on using it to fiddle about inside, but pulling it out the back isn't really a hardship
Just a note - the case says max GPU length is 318mm but if you remove the diagonal psu shroud you'll get about 4-6mm back so it's more like 322mm, if your GPU is stupidly big like the 6900xt red devil is. This might be preferrable anyway if you want your PSU is easy on the eye. Just for reference, i don't find the size of this card to be having any real knock on effect on other temps from components above it, the air finds it way around

As others have mentioned, it is a good idea to do your homework on the design before purchasing.
Some key points:
1.) The vertical PSU requires some planning before mounting. The power is routed through the system to the back via internal lead. 2.) The chimney stack design should be capitalized on in every way possible; (2) additional 200 mm fans can be mounted to the top for balanced air pressure. 3.) The interior is highly modular. Plenty of room for radiators, drives and creative modifications.
I noticed another reviewer comment on the color, so I have two pics here in different light. It can look chromatic if you get the right light over it (4000 Kelvin pictured), or matte black if it is in warmer light w/shadow (2700K also pictured).
Current build and temps: (3) 280mm radiators [which took some machining], (6) 140mm fans, (3) RTX 3090s with modest overclocks & 1600-watt PSU: 24 degrees C Idle and 62 degrees C under 100%/synthetic load. These temps are far better than expected.
Thank you, Cooler Master.

To get the rebate you need a UPC code but my box has the UPC code missing. Googling Cooler Master UPC code missing shows others have run into the same problems. So beware about getting a rebate if that is influencing your purchasing/pricing decision.

A few downs:
1. Much bigger then most mid towers.
2. More plastic parts compared to other premium casing.
3. The black edition looses its aesthetic looks compared to the original grey black combo.
4. With such a large available volume, top AIO support could have been better.
