80 PLUS Titanium

Dark Power Pro 12 1500W is certified with 80 PLUS Titanium and an energy efficiency rating of up to 94.9%. This provides lots of benefits for your high-end system, including less power consumption and an overall cooler and quieter operation. The standby drain is below 0.1 watts.

Fully Digital Control

The fully digital control (PFC, LLC, SR/12V) results in higher efficiency, better regulation and lower ripple noise. This guarantees an incomparably stable operation. Due to the digital concept the Dark Power Pro 12 can reach a great efficiency over the complete power range, even at low load.

Frameless Silent Wings Fan

The be quiet! Silent Wings fan mounted on a tripod enables maximum airflow and a virtually inaudible operation at ordinary loads. This is thanks to its unique, airflow-optimized fan blade design along with an advanced fluid-dynamic bearing and 6-pole fan motor for less vibration, super-long life and minimal power consumption.

Cooling concept, overclocking and design

06

Cooling Concept for a Longer Lifespan

The split fan inlet of the Dark Power Pro 12 is a specially-shaped funnel that increases airflow while reducing unwanted turbulence. The wire-free design inside allows the cool air to reach all components flawlessly which ultimately leads to a longer lifespan.

Ready for Overlocking

Dark Power Pro 12 is particularly suitable for overclocking, thanks to its strong and stable 12V rails. The overclocking key empowers you with full control for overclocking by manually switching between the default six 12V-rail mode and the alternative massive single-rail operation.

Modular Single-Sleeved Cables

The maximum utility afforded by extra-long sleeved cables of up to 120cm and modular cable management simplifies component installation and reduces annoying clutter. This succeeds in increasing the airflow and improving the cooling in even the largest PC cases.

Rock-steady signal stability and efficiency

I Love this Power Supply so Far!I have had this power supply for a couple of weeks now as of this posting and probably will write an update for it.Pros =-The Packaging presentation for this power supply is excellent really shows that they put effort into their product.-The module slots are well labeled and categorized unlike a lot of power supplies I have purchased.-The price was fair u really can't find another power supply for this price and performance got mine for under $500 after tax (If you can get it for MSRP).- Great if you are planning for future-proofingCons =- The 28 motherboard slot pins are separated 20 - 8 (Not really a con but I was confused why my computer wasn't turning on at first then I notice I had to plug the other 8 pins above the 20 pins. They should have kept those pins closer together)- The p8 slot on it was labeled as CPU this would make it a lot more clear for the users.

Just bought it, it works. Upgraded from a 10y old 1050w seasonic to this dark power pro 12 1500w bc the seasonic could not handle the power flux when playing doom 2016 or cyberpunk on ultra settings. Dark power pro 12 1500w, It’s very smooth power for my water cooled cpu 5950x over clocked and pump, rtx 3090 fe over locked, and 6 fans, 2 radiators with 128gb of ram oc. While the power calc on 2 sites stated I was at 750w, the overclock took my usage too close to the ceiling, so the 1500w with digital power controller gave me both a increased wiggle room ceiling and consist no fluctuation in power efficiency. 3D apps,m and Games on ultra run smooth and no fan noise on ramp and ultra settings. Really great psu, with solid titanium rating.

I can't speak highly enough about this product. all calculators I used said I needed a 900 watt PSU , so I bought a seasonic prime tx 1000 it kept tripping and shutting off pc while gaming. so I bought this 1500 watt beast. not a single shut down due to the PSU. it maybe be more watts than what is suggested. but... its much more efficient and very quiet. more "wiggle" room when you might have or add more power hungry hardware to your rig. , very much like the individual braided cables and included combs, makes for a very neat and clean look. just buy it already :)

I have the 1500 watt model powering a computer with an AMD 7950x and a Nvidia RTX 3090Ti, and I can't hear the power supply fan even when I'm playing games at 4k for hours at a time. This power supply is expensive, but it delivers rock solid power at the highest level of efficiency with fan noise which can't be heard 3 feet away in a quiet room.

I was impressed with the quality of one of their cases that I bought. Lot of attention to detail and well made. I assumed the power supply I bought would be the same quality. Perhaps there was a bad run from whoever makes this?

I bought one and the ATX power supply connector did not work. I returned it and figured well that's just a fluke. So I had another one shipped to me. The second one the ATX power connector and the power switch did not work. I verified this by substituting cables on the ATX. Came in such a beautiful expensive box. I don't know what's going on on the manufacturing end but they have just shot themselves in the foot.

I have been building computers since 2005 and this power supply is far and away the most high-quality and well-built PSU I have ever owned. Even the cables themselves are excellent: each wire is individually sleeved, and sleeved tightly. The aluminum body and silent fan operation are additional positives. The rail setup for OC'ing is the cherry on top. I cannot think of a single negative about this piece of hardware and I doubt any other buyer will be able to either. HIGHLY recommended.

-The price was fair u really can't find another power supply for this price and performance got mine for under $500 after tax (If you can get it for MSRP).

5.0 out of 5 stars very quiet indeed, and efficient, though expensive
Reviewed in Canada on October 17, 2021
Good PSU, very quiet fan, I didn't push it more than 1000W and the fan is very quiet, the watt meter on the wall shows the efficiency is around 95+% when running at around 900W, all the wires and connectors run cool as far as I can tell, I wish the wire combs are preinstalled as it is very tedious to put on (personally I can't be bothered using the combs, just used velcro ties and called it a day) A bit pricey but so far seem very reliable and love how quiet the fan is

1.0 out of 5 stars NEVER BUY A POWER SUPPLY FROM AMAZON WAREHOUSE
Reviewed in Canada on August 14, 2022
I bought a used one from Amazon warehouse and it destroyed my computer's RAM. Amazon won't take responsibility. Be sure to look at 1 star reviews for the worst case scenario because Amazon sold me a faulty unit from their returns. Thankfully it only killed my RAM. It was also missing a cable even though it came with a sheet saying that all parts were present. Power supplies are a big risk if bought used, and clearly Amazon doesn't test them in actual PCs when sold used.

4.0 out of 5 stars No sleeved cables and cables are either slightly too short or way too long
Reviewed in Canada on September 6, 2022
Pros
- No fire yet
- Low noise because it's be quiet!, also my AC makes sure I hear nothing
- Decent price, I would not go for those 200$ 1500W power supplies anyway.
- Very well packaged, maybe too well, the box is huge, it's about a third of the size of my case.

Cons
- Cables are not sleeved (which is a bummer for a power supply at that price) so they snag everything when you are trying to pass them, I don't care for once they are installed because there is no window on my case, so they could be ugly and it would not matter.
- Cables are way too long or slightly too short for my case (Phanteks Eclipse P600S), not sure I will be able to close the back of the case, The cable length would not have been a problem if the connectors on the power supply would have been flipped
