I've read the other reviews, I didn't experience any of the issues these other customers are talking about. My unit is perfect. I don't know if that's fluke luck or if these reviewers are blowing smoke. Whatever the case...
WORKSTATION SPECS & VOLTAGE:
I have a 5950x and an RTX 3090 running primarily as a 3D V-Ray workstation inside a small, M-ITX form factor case. That requires some serious power, and my 800W SFX-L PSU just didn't cut it without having to limit the draw to both my CPU and GPU. The SX1000? No such trouble. Didn't have to undervolt anything. Everything "just works." My workstation can use up to 804W draw from the wall at full load, and the PSU is completely unaffected.
NOISE:
This PSU is incredibly quiet. I'd never noticed a PSU in my day to day, but the reviews here had me pay attention to it. I run at full load often, because I'm rendering in real-time daily. At night, I'm rendering scenes. After two weeks 24/7 consistent usage, I have had no issues whatsoever. The only noise I've noticed in my machine has been my GPU fan. The PSU is near silent.
I'm going to double down on this. I record music on the Macbook in my office, I was surprised when my studio mic (Shure SM7B) picked up more sound from my brand new 16" Macbook Pro's fans than it did from my rendering machine.
HEAT:
My unit does not generate a significant or noticeable amount of heat, either. It's perfectly normal and what I've come to expect from Seasonic. My experience with Seasonic has been mostly positive, as I still use a Titanium Seasonic 860W ATX modular PSU on another workstation in my office going on 8 years with no issues.
CABLES:
My cables weren't stiff at all. They were quite flexible and bent exactly as needed in a small, small form factor PC. They weren't luxury braided cables but for how premium and impressive this little PSU is, I didn’t have a problem. However, I’d implore Seasonic to make official braided cables I could use with this PSU. I’d pay a premium for them, even.
IN SUMMARY:
In my personal experience I can with full confidence recommend this product. In fact I'd do more than that: it's an impressive technical achievement to stuff this much power into such a small package. It's the cream of the crop for SFF PCs.
I'll update in six months and let y'all know how it's going, and soon I'll upload pictures of my build (still perfecting cable management).
Update: After pushing the rig hard i now have coil whine sometimes. Which is perfectly normal...thats how these products and graphics cards operate. I have 1000w and you dont.

The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars are the cables that it comes with. This psu is designed for smaller form factor cases, and the cabling should reflect that. First of all, the cables aren't sleeved, which makes for a lot of wasted space inside the case, also makes the cables much more awkward to work with. They are thick so they don't bend easily. If you need to power a sata drive in your case the only cables included have 4 sata power connectors, which is extreme overkill in the majority of cases for a micro build and results in more wasted space inside the case.
The 24pin motherboard connector cable was so short that I could barely get it connected between the psu and the motherboard in my micro case (it has the psu at the bottom of the case). It seems like that cable could have been just a tad longer to allow for a bit more slack. Basically several of the cables which should have less connectors on them or be shorter are too long (or have too many connectors) and the ones that should be longer are too short. It's like no one at silverstone actually tried to build in a micro atx case with this thing using the default cables.
They do sell a "short cable set" which comes with sata cables with only two connectors (which are spaced too far apart), some shorter cables, and some more flexible cables, but still not sleeved. Why do I need to buy a kit in addition to my SFX-L psu to be able to comfortably build with it in a micro case? Why are the cables in that kit still sub-par in many ways?
I did manage to finish my build with the included cables but it was more of a struggle than it should have been and the cable management is worse than I was wanting, but I was limited by what I had to work with. I ordered that short cable kit they have and I'm going to try to move some things around and see if I can get it a bit better but it's still not going to be sleeved cables which means there's still going to be a lot of wasted space because I'll only be able to do so much with the cable management/routing in the case.
For such an expensive psu you guys should be able to do much better than this with the default cables.
Other than that the power supply seems to work well and is very quiet. Again, it was basically the only option on the market right now for getting 1000w in to a micro atx case so that's why I ended up grabbing it.
