    Works out of the box. Easier to set up than I think. I spend less than 5 minutes to finish everything and got the videos on my phone. It shows only 1 bar of WIFI signal for me, but it connects and works. Video seems to be good on the phone too although not like 1080P. Guess it is due to the WIFI signal. Will try with a WIFI extender later.The product looks in good quality too, looks very well made.Update:I finally got the fixture which allow me to adjust the direction of the bulb pointing and install my Snap Camera Bulb with it. It looks great. And for the 1080P problem, I figured it out due to I didn't change the default settings which is 720P. Now it looks great. I tried the app's motion detection and notification function too. Works pretty well!.Now I feel accomplished and my wife feel safer :D

    I bought these cameras in August 2017 and they worked beautifully. Crystal clear pictures day and night. Then all of a sudden a few weeks ago the night vision was blurry around the edges. I cleaned the lenses and no change. I contacted Sengled and they replaced both cameras immediately and I received them today.

    Much to my major disappointment there is no change. One camera is worse that the one I returned and the other is the same. Great daytime pictures, horrible night pictures as you can see from the pictures. I emailed them again hoping that they can shed some light on what's causing the problem and fix it as I really, really love these cameras and I want them to work out.

    REVISION: I'm revising my review because I think the issue is with the high humidity in South Florida causing condensation on the outside of the lens. I have researched some solutions and have emailed Sengled support to see what they recommend. Will post an update once I hear back from support.

    REVISION: As I have since learned the blurry picture was the result of condensation on the outside of the lens which is no fault of the camera, Several people I know have the same issue with their cameras from other manufacturers.

    I contacted customer support because I needed a raw video from an event that happened over the weekend, and I needed almost a full hour of video. They sent me the video immediately with no questions asked. Crystal at Sengled is great, she's a huge asset to the company.

    While not perfect this is a great camera. It's super easy to install and configure and I have since ordered another camera. Highly recommended!

    We bought the 2 pack of Snap camera lights and installed it over our garage and drive way. It was incredibly easy to setup – just downloaded the app on the phone, temporarily installed the lights inside near the router for initial setup and connected to the light bulb's wifi, the app did the rest. We then installed the light bulbs into the outside sockets, it was done. It was nice not needing any tools to install, or worrying about running wires/cables to get it set up.

    The visual coverage is pretty wide and sound is clear. We have set the lights to come on and go off via a schedule at night. So far this has been working well.

    We had one small issue we ran into, which was not related to the product itself, but to the old external housing that we were screwing the bulbs into. Initially, the bulbs were not powering on in the external housing, and after inspection, it appeared the small copper tab at the bottom of the socket which should make contact with the base tip of the bulb was flattened out. With the power to the socket off, we pried up the copper tab slightly and the Snap lights then powered on properly after reinstalling in the socket. So, if you have any problems with powering on the bulbs initially, check the socket (with power off, of course).

    One feature we would like to see is the ability to turn on the light via motion detection, with that it would be perfect....

    HORRIBLE, I’m a passive person and usually do not comment on products unless they are outstanding or terrible. This product is beyond terrible. I purchased a flood lamp months ago and at first it worked well. Once your free video service of 30 days is up, watch out problems start to arise. The camera consistently turns off on its own. I called customer service several times and with each call comes a different excuse. The first time my bandwidth was to low, unit require at least 8 mine was 12 so she told me to turn off the power to the unit and reset it, I did and it worked well for a week. I called a second time, this time I was told I need to upgrade, I told them I already did, they requested I do it again so I did, still not fixed. I called again, they now told me the fixture is probably the problem, I told them it’s brand new, they replied, it could be defective. I moved the camera to another flood lamp fixture and still the units shuts off on its own.
    Enough is enough, I’m reporting these clowns to the better business bureau and every agency I can find. This is being done on purpose so unit owners can subscribe to their monthly subscription, SCAM. BUYER BEWARE !

Now, you are required to pay $3.99 for 24 hours of back footage. And prices go up steeply from there to $9.99 for a week of viewable footage. Pros: multi functional spot light type bulb, very heavy, that needs no additional wiring. Fits in your outdoor light socket. Cons: PRICY BULB, PRICY FOOTAGE, MY YARD IS 75% RELIABILITY BECAUSE I HAVE TREES AND WIND :(

    I thought this was an amazing product as there was no wiring involved and you could just put it in your existing light fixtures but upon receiving it I realized you need to have have a paid subscription for any of the benefits this product has to offer. Companies website is also hard to navigate.
