Good, cheap, bright bulb, but it had issues staying connected to the internet. About once a day, it went offline and never came back on, so I had to re-pair the bulb every day. This was fixed by switching lamps (metal to plastic) so I think it was just a wifi problem.

Setup was fairly straightforward, although the instructions were a bit sparse. A nice range of colors and intensities, and the device is compatible with my Google Home device.

However, it disconnects from my wireless network so often that it is basically worthless. I have tried it in multiple fixtures, at different distances from my router, but it doesn't help.

I won't be purchasing any other products from this company. Very disappointing.

EDIT: After a recent app update, I am no longer able to control this light at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Promising for the price, but tricky to setup

The bulb itself is nice. It's really bright. I wish I could get it to connect to the app. It keeps getting to 25% then failing to connect. Plus after it fails to connect the WiFi on the bulb shuts off or something because it no longer is in a state that it can be connected to. You have to reset the bulb which means turning it on and off 5 times (which might not seem like a lot but c'mon, it's ridiculous to have to twist a lamp knob on and off 5 times to reset a light). Overall I'm pretty disappointed so far because the entire point of the light is to get it connected to the app and be able to use the RGB and other smart features. I have a few Philips lights too and wanted to try this one because it is much more affordable, but if I can't get it to work I may just continue to buy Philips.

Poor wifi connection retention and zero company support

This product worked beautifully for about 3 weeks, then lost its connection to my internet (which it had once or twice before & I was easily able to restore) about a month ago it lost again, and will not correct no matter how many times I “recycle” the system. I now have a $25 dollar light bulb 😫 I looked for support on the app, nothing but a report button which several times.
