Defective product. Purchased in 2021, warranty expired in 2020.
The OLED screen (the main reason I purchased this laptop) became defective within 6 months.I purchased the laptop in September 2021, and by March 2022, I noticed the display starting to give.See attached photos, 2 thick vertical bars of discoloration running all the way up the screen.Upon contacting GIGABYTE support, this laptop was covered by the warranty from October 2019 - October 2020. Once again, I purchased the laptop in September 2021, so I never had a chance to get this repaired under warranty.Additionally, the battery life is not nearly as good as advertised, I only get around 3 hours of battery life (if that) from a full charge, when running non-intensive programs. No where near the advertised 8 hours.The display ports are faulty, on one side I see severe input lag and FPS issues using external displays, and on the other side, half the time the display output does not function.As for the camera, as mentioned by other users, the webcam placement is very poor.Overall I am very dissatisfied with this product and I feel that I was scammed. Save yourself some trouble and purchase from a different vendor or directly from GIGABYTE. At least that way you will know your laptop is covered under warranty for a full year.
