So I'm not sure why this game is getting such bad reviews because I am loving it. Does the gameplay feel a bit repetitive?...yes....is the story a bit lacking?...yes...but not all games need a Pulitzer prize winning story or Academy award winning acting. Don't get me wrong I love a good story but this is a simple but fun hack and slash looter at its core. First off the graphics are fantastic as you can see by the pictures. I am playing on performance mode and the graphics don't suffer one bit. Gameplay seems to be locked as 60 fps and is smooth as silk with no hiccups, stuttering or glitching of any kinds that I have noticed as of yet. I think the repetitiveness comes from the fact that there are only three zones...Air, Earth and Water that you play in so because you see the same areas over and over it can feel more repetitive than it actually is. I like the the Augment system which gives you yet another way to upgrade and customize your character. Also I noticed watching gameplay vids before purchase that alot of people seem to be missing on the loot hidden in the vases, etc around the world. While not all of them have loot many do and there are many hidden around off the beaten path so be sure to explore and not just keep on the main pathways. This game was a launch day purchase for me but I held off because of all the negative reviews. To be honest if I paid the full price of 70.00 I still would feel the same about the game, its that good. The fact that I got is on sale for 50.00 is icing on the cake. Wish I had actually bought the Deluxe version so I would have the first DLC pack but will definitely buy that when it comes out.

I recently obtained a PS5 in march with birthday cash. So I bought two games, this and the medium.

Godfall while it has a lot of flaws, locking it’s features of co-op and matchmaking behind a startlingly high level 50 grind, also offers a very campy tale of two brothers. If you or your kid enjoy a bit of transformers, this is kinda the same base for the quality of the story, light, easy and simple. The game shines on the boss fights, every one feels strong and they are truly fun to fight meshed with the PS5 graphics it really makes for a great time. If you can get this game for around $5-10 go for it. Just don’t think it’s going to be one of a kind

Nowhere in the description does it say that it cannot be played offline. I had to read the reviews to find that out, too late. I don’t understand a physical disc for something that can only be played online. I just wasted my money purchasing this. So unhappy with this purchase
