To be quite honest with you, this is not what I expected from a product that gained notoriety the way it did. First of all, I’m not entirely convinced that this isn’t a knock off. The package isn’t the same as others. It’s incredibly cheap, poorly made, and the lack of branding is subpar.I ordered a Small. I’m 5’5. Weigh 125 give or take and usually wear a size 4 in clothing. Based on reviews by others and what the company lists I technically could have ordered a medium, but chose to order a Small. It’s still too big. Clearly, there is a bug learning curve here with this start-up.Also, please don’t advertise yourself as an American made company in the item description — when you’re not. The fabric was produced elsewhere. You are not a fully made in America Company. Production standards for fabric in other countries are extremely low. Also, according to the FTC textiles should have the country of origin clearly labeled. The items should say Manufactured in America with Imported Fabrics. The fabric is nothing more than compression fabric of the same quality of yoga pant.Great thought. Needs better execution!

I’ve traditionally had a form of restless leg syndrome which predominantly presents itself as me wanting compression on my feet by pointing them into a blanket or a sheet. Many times this has been impossible causing me to wake frequently and resulting in terrible HRV ratings (50s and 60s at 35 years old). This thing has been super helpful in addressing this by lightly compressing my entire body including my feet (I wear it like I’m a merman (mermaid… whatever lmao). It’s super breathable so I don’t get hot which was the issue for me with weighted blankets. My HRV score average has gone up into the 80s over the last week with just this alone. Super looking forward to seeing if these continue!

I have an anxiety disorder so I thought I would try using one of these to make me feel more secure and swaddled. It works amazingly. I had no idea this would make me feel so comforted. It doesn’t eliminate the anxiety, but easily helps with the condition and could be a great part of your treatment plan. Also, I’m a larger guy and was worried about buying the largest size and it only being an XL when I typically wear a men’s XXXL, but it fits perfectly and would easily fit someone larger than me. The material is super soft and is amazing because it both cools and keeps you warm. It’s summer in Texas so it’s about thirty degrees hotter than an oven in hell, but I wasn’t too hot in the pod. It cooled where it needed to and heated in others. The slot to put your feet out is a must have as is the hood. You can really disappear in the hood or easily just throw it back out of the way when you don’t want to use it. The only complaint I have is that there is no way to look cool while wearing this thing. I suffer non-stop jokes from my wife, but it’s okay because I can just hide inside so the joke is on her.

So overall the construction and idea behind this sleep pod is great. It kind of helps me, but not enough to deal with getting in and out of it if I have to get up during the middle of my sleep. Overall I have found that I prefer a weighted blanket, but I definitely think this is worth trying if you can afford it.

This is so soft and cozy when I first put the hug sleep pod on at night and get all snuggly in bed. But then sometime in the middle of the night it gets too hot, and there's no way to stretch out a leg or arm to touch a cool spot on the sheets. Also, for those middle of the night treks to the bathroom, it's a real nuisance to crawl out of it. By the time I do all that, I'm wide awake and don't get back to sleep. So, being insomniac anyway, I'll need to return this and continue looking for another way to get a full night's sleep.

I just received my sleep pod.

It's literally worthless. Due to my build and weight, I was worried that even the large would be too small, as I'm on the upper end of the recommended size for it. Boy, was I wrong.

It's like a tent. It feels like ill-fitting, stretched out socks- just ginormous. It offers no pressure or weight.

I had such high hopes for this product. I love the deep pressure of a weighted blanket, but this for sure is NOT a replacement for that. You could easily fit 2 of me in there, and probably still not have the pressure feeling it advertises. If I stand up and try to wear it as a dress, it wouldn't even stay up, it falls down. Even after bringing 3 pillows inside of it, it does not do what it advertises. It doesn't even provide the same level of pressure as a pair of yoga pants or control top panty hose. I could achieve a tighter swaddle by laying a blanket down on the floor and rolling myself up like a burrito.

I'm also disappointed with the hole for your feet. This was the design element I was waiting on before I ordered one- I need my feet to stick out. But there's only one small foot hole on the side of the bottom. It's not enough to get both feet out, at least not comfortably.

Others have complained that theirs was much smaller than it should be, so maybe the company is struggling to provide consistent sizes? IDK. But I'm sending mine back. I'm not going to try to exchange it for a smaller size because having seen one in person now, I don't think it's made of strong enough material to give the kind of pressure needed for a therapeutic effect. The material they use is just too thin and doesn't give enough resistance. Like I mentioned above, it's not even as strong as the top of most (looser fitting) yoga pants or a maxi skirt. It's really weak. That probably helps with temperature control, but it makes the product pretty useless. 😞

I'm so bummed out. Hopefully the return process will be quick and easy.

I love this thing. I had a weighted blanket for years, but found that hauling it over me when I went to sleep, or even worse, out to the couch if I wasn't feeling well, was causing me significant shoulder pain. Add that to the hot flashes I was blessed with in the last year, and I needed something different. I found this after seeing a knockoff on a Facebook ad, and went looking for a reputable company to buy one from. This was it. It folds up smaller than a tshirt, which means I can travel with it. It's warm enough that I rarely need a blanket (and when I do, it's a lightweight cotton one), but breathable enough that I don't get too warm in it... and if I do, I can always kick my feet out. Getting up in the middle of the night is not an issue either - kick my feet out and pull it up to my knees, and pull it down just like a pair of pants.

Unten wegen der Beine besteht viel Lockerheit. Oben hatte ich hingegen das Gefühl wie in einer Zwangsjacke, sobald ich meine Arme mit im Pod hatte. Mit den Armen draußen, hatte ich nur das Gefühl ein enges Band um meine Brust zu schnüren.

I really wanted to love this and it had so much potential, but the way the foot opening is stitched it isn’t stretchy. So I can’t wriggle in to my pod standing up then get in bed because I can’t move my legs/get far enough to thrown one up on the bed then the other. This is also a safety risk because if I had to get up in an emergency I’d have to fight my way wriggling out of it while laying down to get out of bed. If only the bottom was finished the same way as the top I think this would be amazing. But as it is, it’s useless to me.
