So HAPPY and THRILLED with my Purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
This is a bit LONG winded so PLEASE Bear with me... So my last 4K TV went out back in September of 2023 and I'll be the first to say IT was a SAD Day for me then Because I am a GAMER having both a PS5 and Series X so Not only did my Warranty run out SMH BUT because of my Disability I haven't been able to work since the beginning of 2023 So to spend $2000.00 on a NEW OLED TV was out of the question. So I had to settle for a Full HD TV, so Because I COULD SEE A HUGE DIFFERENCE from my OLD 4K to an HD TV I put in MY head "THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY" But it got the job done because I was able to game so I was Happy at the Time. However as time went on I TRULY STILL wanted another 4KTV so once 2024 came I woke up Jan1st and thought DUDE Try your luck on a BUGET 4KTV... So I Bought the INSIGNIA 43-inch Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote. LOOOONG Story short It just Arrived Today and I Haven't been this Happy since My LAST OLED TV and for a Buget TV OMG the Pixels, The CLEARNESS of Texture and SOUND Basically EVERYTHING You'd want in a 4KTV this Fire TV Has! I ALSO got to mention it's got an "ALEXA" BUILT IN and for someone as Myself who uses an ALEXA on a Daily Basis for YEARS NOW such as Reminder's or appointments, to have this Feature Built in REALLY Add's to the VAULE... Honestly if your someone who has HAD a High Quality 4K TV Before comparing that to "THIS" will probably get your Hopes down BUT as MOST would Nick and Pick what those TV's have compared to This one... BUT if your someone who is just wanting a 4kTV and you're on a Buget this TV is HANDS DOWN A GREAT Buget 4KTV WITH ALEXA.... HIGHLY Recommended...

So, I initially bought this TV for the Kitchen. We had an old Dynex LCD tv that was looking pretty old (with speaker under the screen and a large frame/border around the image). But then I had just bought a 32in model of this same brand for my wife for use in the Exercise Room. She's been doing instructor-led workouts even before the pandemic, with a streaming subscription for a service that offers a lot of new content to keep it fresh.

Anyway, we loved the 32in TV and when these went on-sale I bought the 43in. Decided the 43in would be a bit TOO BIG for the Kitchen and that it would benefit her more in the exercise room doing floor exercises since the TV is mounted higher up on the wall. My wife LOVES her TV upgrade. So that's priceless. She uses the TV every day some weeks and since it has all the normal apps she uses, it has eliminated the separate Fire Stick we used to have to plug into the old tv. It works well, it looks great, and it makes her exercise sessions much nicer since it's such a big TV compared to the 26in we first had in thta room.

So far so good with the Insignia brand! BTW the 32in Insignia is in our Kitchen and I like turning on some "live cams" at during the summer (beach or beach bar) and winter (live ski cams, deer feeding cams, snowy scenes). When people are over I turn the volume down and put on a scene like that for something to look at and I'm not afraid to admit that for a while I was into live kitten cams, watching the kittens fall over and jump on each other.

Anyway, what I really like about these TV's is that there's not too much of a frame / border around the edges and that the speakers are hidden (yet sound decent for a tv). Plus it eliminated those extra streaming devices that needed to be plugged in. And they're so light! Compared to my old Dynex LCD tvs these things are probably half the weight, which makes it easier to mount them or move them around.

I'm probably going to buy another of these for use on our fireplace. I setup an LCD tv there a few years back because guests didn't like the smoke smell from the fireplace, but my wife liked the ambience of a fire during the winter. So now I toss a fireplace scene up from Youtube and with the way the light flickers in a dark room, you actually feel like there's a fire lit. Amazing how some things like that are all in the mind! So it's eliminated having to deal with a fire or wood, but still provides the ambience and allows us to have a fire going when guests that don't like smoke are over.

No issues with Insignia TVs and will post here if/when I do have any! But so far, loving the modern look and how well the smart features work on these tvs!

Since I poor water on the original remote and the alexa feature does not work anymore, I can't talk much about it, but it was great to search any movies in any apps when it was working. Nice size tv for the wall mount for 12X13 bedroom.

UPDATE: my replacement came quickly, and it works great. Awesome TV for the money. Only downside is it puts itself to sleep after a few minutes of pause no matter what you do, unless you use a workaround in developer mode. But the workaround is easy to implement so I'm not too bothered by that.

The new TV came packaged slightly differently from the original, I suspect the original was a return in the first place.

I have a replacement coming, so I'll update when it gets here and hopefully this was just bad luck and a defective item. As soon as I told it to connect to Wi-Fi it gained a bunch of horizontal lines and nothing I did fixed it. I tried unplugging, cycling, off and on again every way I could. Fingers crossed for success on take two. From what I experienced: easy to unpack (and repack), easy to hang up, remote has a nice hand feel, screen is bright.

Bought to use as a pc monitor; general email, excel, PowerPoint, and teams work.

Setup was easy, 2 screws each to attach the legs and it was standing up. The body is pretty thin and flexes, but under 2 bills it’s forgivable.

Turned it on and there’s no way to bypass smart features and signed onto Amazon with wifi and all. Needed to update so gave it a few min.

The remote has no input button so have to navigate via the fire home screen which is pretty annoying. After first use, there’s a stacked panes button remote that’s for recent favorites and does in a way act as an input button. Tv doesn’t remember which input you leave on and boots to fire Home Screen every time. Couple more button presses in the morning I guess.

Screen is more than bright enough for desk work, I actually turned down brightness as I’m sitting about 2.5 ft away. Tv doesn’t do 4:4:4 chroma so text is not perfect but perfectly serviceable after a few tweaks; setting picture mode to pc and turning on super resolution seems to do the trick for now. Most general office work has black text against white in excel, outlook, teams, etc. don’t expect it to give me trouble reading wise but am aware it wouldn’t be the best monitor for detailed graphics nor critical PowerPoint where accurate colors are required. Attaching pictures of general office work and rtings chroma test: most are perfectly legible except the lowest two rows where there is some blur but legible, I don’t expect to read text in those color schemes for general office work.

A few surprises, this is actually natively airplay compatible and HomeKit. Airplay is always nice to have for a quick screen share from phone and HomeKit integration means I have a spare remote on my phone and it helps with the input button annoyance.

There is a slight window pane effect sitting this close, the utmost outer edge where the scroll bar would sit for many applications has an odd 3D effect, like it’s floating. Looks a little funny but not a show stopper.

Love the screen productivity this affords, it’s literally 4 x 21.5” at 1080p each, and with quick windows shortcuts (win+left+up, etc) it’s really easy to snap windows into a 4 grid to multitask or cross reference data.

Or it can offer massive screen real estate for spreadsheets and multiple word pages.

Now let’s hope it lasts.

Update***
While screen sharpness and text was not an issue, after a full day of work decided to return, the input lag was disruptive. Would have been fine for general home theater pc use but the typing lag was not conducive for work where I’m constantly firing off emails and messages. The tcl 4 series is much better in this regard and what ive ordered instead now.
