High resolution extremely sharp picture. Awesome easy to use navigation of streaming services. Remote control easily controls navigation with go to buttons for the primary streaming services. Great stereo sound built into the set. My family was skeptical when I told them I wanted to replace our old set. They said don't waste your money. However, after the set was in place, they were amazed with the quality. How life like their shows became with such high resolution and superior sound. I recommend this set. It's worth the money. I specialize in tech reviews. As as professional photographer having TVs with the finest picture quality possible has always been priority one for me. This means great blacks and accurate realistic skin tones that doe not look cartoonish. If you are reading this, you know LG OLEDs have long been the leaders in finest picture quality. Read on to decide whether to buy the A series or the C:

If you don’t game frequently with your television, save your money and go for this “A.” As long as you can live with only having three HDMI inputs, you won’t be able to tell the difference in the picture. My son is an avid sports fan and gamer, too. The 60mhz refresh rate of the A series versus 120 can be seen when gaming but not in watching sports.

All else is the virtually same including settings options and the remote. The image quality is stunning although you may need to lower contrast slightly to avoid details in deepest blacks from getting crushed. At the time of this review, the 48” A1 is $300 cheaper than the C1 so it’s a no-brainer choice.

We love the sharpness, crispness and vivid colors that this picture screen brings!! We also love that Alexa is built in!
This is an OLED TV which means that there is no “ Bluelight” backlighting as in other flatscreen TVs. This TV is said to have “ true” black as a color which is not truely achieveable with other flatscreens. OLED TVs are not supposed to give off flicker which stains the eyes and overall better viewing for the eyes. With all that said, the vividness of this TV says it all! We are very happy with this TV and would easily recommend it to our friends, family and others. I give it 5 stars out of 5. Amazon delivery was absolutely professional with getting us our TV- a big thank you!
I would buy this TV again if I need a second one. It does perform as described by the literature. I tell everyone to read and measure all pluses and minuses of ALL models. For me, this TV purchase was the best!! Thank you to all.

The OLED TV picture makes my 10 year old Sony Bravia LCD look like a 1960's CRT using an antenna. The picture is incredibly sharp, full color, and with very crisp black backgrounds. For a TV speaker, the sound is very good, but you'll want a speaker system to get the best audio. I like the "magic remote", but not everyone will, just turn off the pointer if you don't. And it was delivered days ahead of the original estimate in perfect order.

Great T.V the picture is amazing. I had a 4K UHD TV and thought that was great. Pales in comparison to the OLED. Even my wife who doesn't care about any of this stuff. Was really impressed by the picture quality. I hate the magic remote, the mouse cursor pops up all the time and is motion sensitive, pretty aggravating and there is no way to turn that feature off. The base stand is also not very secure. The TV feels wobbly even when screws are tightened all the way down. Those 2 annoyances are minor and can be overlooked.

I’ve wanted an OLED TV for quite a while, but they’re always too expensive. I just couldn’t justify the cost. I bought the LG when it went on sale. I suppose the picture could be brighter but for what I paid it’s amazing. Also, the TV has several other functions that I wasn’t really expecting, such as Bluetooth and an RF remote. The LG operating system, while not as good as Roku, is still much better than I expected. Overall, a great value for the money.

Good for TV, bad for PC (and probably gaming)

I bought as a multipurpose TV and computer monitor. It is pretty bad for the latter.
It has very perceptible input delay even when optimized with the 'Gaming' presets. Presumably this would also be bad for consoles since I can't enen move my mouse and click buttons on a webpage quickly and accurately.

Setting are not super configurable and it doesn't detect inactivity and automatically sleep. With a proper PC, disabling the display with DPMS will put it to sleep, but a regular blank screensaver will not. Other devices like a Kodi don't appear to ever put it to sleep, even when they are configured to go blank.

Still beats my old setup with a separate TV and 3 tiles LCD monitors, but ideally this should be used for watching video only.

Obnoxious mandatory LG account to install anything

They force you to create an LG account before you can install any app on the smart TV.

I created an account, only to be rejected and told I created a LG US account and nee a LG Canada account - which is not made clear anywhere.

then I finally to get the App running on my phone and tried to link my account on my TV using this app.
It did not work.

The entire process was incredibly user unfriendly and obnoxious.

I'm considering returning the product to get a cheaper TV from a Chinese manufacturer.
