Compact and easy to use. Many miles logged from the comfort of my home!
Mobvoi Treadmill ReviewI heard through the grapevine that Mobvoi had just entered the home fitness market with a treadmill and was naturally curious about the offering. My experience with the company has been quite pleasant with the customer service and their line of WearOS android smart watches. With the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS still on my wrist as my daily driver, I was also curious to see how this watch would interact with a treadmill from the same company. I was pleasantly surprised at how generally seamless the connection between the two pieces was and how beneficial it was to have the watch. Although not absolutely necessary to own another Mobvoi branded smart watch, another WearOS device is required to save workouts on this treadmill using the Mobvoi Treadmill app. So, enough with the background and on with my review.I know that treadmills can be priced into the thousands and do everything but my taxes I’m sure. This treadmill is not that talented and as such does not carry the hefty price tag. When compared to more endowed treadmills typically found in gyms and hotel fitness rooms, this treadmill is entry level at best… but it gets the basics down well.* The controls and display are minimalistic. Start/Stop button, + and - buttons for speed and incline control and the control button.. That’s it. THe display cycles through distance, time elapsed, and calories burned. Steps taken are shown in one corner.*Both the motors for treadmill and incline are pretty quiet. I only observed a noise with every step when inclined some and I’m stepping toward the front of the treadmill.*The treadmill itself folds up sort of… it does not fold up entirely… only about 75% of the way. Even this allows for good storage and transport around the room. I have it currently stored in my office. I was able to fold it (which involves lifting the tread mill part until a hydraulic “kickstand” locks in place. When you want to unfold it, just “kick” the kickstand and the treadmill part lowers slowly until it hits the floor with a small thud.*The pre-programmed running routines need some documentation with the treadmill. I asked Mobvoi for it and they sent me a Powerpoint that shows what each program does.. Time, speed, and inclination. Fortunately, the programs can be modified on the fly… but the mods are not saved.*The connection with my TIcWatch works well. Start the app on the watch, wait the seconds needed to connect with the treadmill, start a run on the treadmill… The app on the watch recognizes the run has started and keeps track of heart rate, steps, time, distance, calories, pace, speed and a couple step frequency metrics. Very thorough. The runs upload to my Strava which is connected via the Mobvoi app.The runs themselves are good. No complaints.. I just need to make sure I run more frequently. That’s not the treadmills fault.. A bonus is that I have no excuse to get a run in… weather is not an excuse. I can now run inside!* I did try using the bitgym app with this treadmill and it worked ok. THat’s more a function of the app though and my phone. It works by detecting motion while running on a treadmill. I’d love an option to use my Oculus with this to get a truly immersive experience while running on the mill. What I wish it would do better:* When you start a run on the treadmill but not on your watch first, it does not connect to the watch automatically and therefore, the run is not saved. The watch connects to the treadmill but does not appear to work the other way around.* I wish it folded up 90 degrees from the floor to save real space for storage.*Currently, the touch screen buttons have to be pushed repeatedly to increase the speed or incline. You can’t just hold your finger down on the button to advance the speed. Since there is no physical button, each touch doesn’t always register.*Documentation needs improvement. I get the general message but some of the maintenance steps and precautions are translated badly from Chinese and does not read well in English. This is a common thing with Mobvoi products. They do provide great customer service in my experience for product support. The skinny:Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and see many miles being logged on this treadmill. This review was written after a couple weeks of use and it has delivered very well the ability to run and track runs without leaving the comfort of my home.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best lil treadmill I’ve ever tried and owned! Just wish I would’ve bought one sooner.
Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2023
Hi! I’ve owned close to a dozen treadmills over the years. Unfortunately we had a flood and I lost my big boy high dollar one about 6 months ago. I really liked my last one as it was a commercial treadmill from a gym that went out of business. Only drawback was that it weighed over 500 lbs.
It took me 6 months to finally decide to try the Mobvoi treadmill. Several friends have the smaller size like this and they kept telling me to just try one. I’ve owned Mobvoi watches for at least 5 years so I figured I’d give it a try.

This treadmill just blew me a way by the quality and just how well it works. Plus it takes up about half of the square footage as my last treadmill. I was so apprehensive to even consider one this size. Boy was I ever wrong.
It took me about 10 minutes to adjust my body to this size but quickly realized that this one does everything that my old one did. It’s actually considerably quieter. I typically do not write a review this long but I’m so impressed by it and felt it deserved to be reviewed in detail.
The treadmill took me around 30 minutes to put together. Packaging and hardware were great. I had everything I needed to assemble including the little tools that they provided. The instructions are easy and step by step. ( pun intended lol)
I’m 6’3” and 240 lbs. It handled my weight and height easily. The screen display is easy to maneuver thru. I made sure I had the safety lanyard hooked up to me and I was off and walking.
I just can’t get over how quiet it is.

I’ve battled with plantar fasciitis as well as shin splints for most of my life. This particular belt didn’t cause me any pain. I did about 5 miles at 3.5 mph. With a handful of surges up to 7 mph. I raised and lowered the incline throughout my work out and it just glided effortlessly. Excellent first workout.

I then tied my mobvoi tic watch pro to it and it really tracked everything even more accurately. I love how they seamlessly connect. 2nd workout was better as I had fully adjusted to the size and controls. I’m in my upper 50s and try to exercise 5 days a week. This treadmill just made my workouts so much better. I haven’t tried the training and trail running videos that are available as I usually just watch a sitcom or two while walking.

Overall, my favorite features are how little of space is needed, how easily it folds up, and the quietness while it runs.

Every now and then I’ll get a product that exceeds the 5 star ratings and this is one of them. I am so surprised by this treadmill. It is very well made and should last me for many many years. I hope this helps with your decision as it has exceeded my expectations.

4.0 out of 5 stars This unit is well worth the price!
Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2023
I'll start by saying "I am not an expert". I purchased this treadmill to lose a few pounds. I was drawn to this device in particular because of the price, and the many positive reviews. Upon opening the box I noticed how well packaged the device was, there was also no damage to the box. The set up was fairly simple, I thought it was more involved. We put this in our spare bedroom that is downstairs enclosed near my cave. I actually roll the device to the bedroom door, which is facing my cave TV, and get my walk/jog on. I love using the incline feature, it really makes you push it and are serious about getting in shape. I love the convenience of taking a brisk walk, or jog without leaving the house. This really comes in handy when the weather is inclement. You will definitely need help unboxing, this thing is heavy and well built. Once you get it up and going, enjoy! This unit is easy to assemble, has great basic features, it isn't loud, It won't break the bank, and it doesn't take up too much space I recommend this product. There was one issue that I must mention. My wife was using the unit one day and she said the treadmill just stopped while she was jogging, this could have been an issue but she wasn't going that fast. This happened 3 weeks ago and hasn't happened again. I will report back if it does. Is this the most feature laden treadmill? Probably not, but for the price, and build quality I believe this is an excellent purchase for those of us who aren't "experts" .

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Incline Smart Home Treadmill
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2023
Our Mobvoi Home Treadmill Incline was delivered on June 10, 2023. Setup & assembly was very quick and easy; all necessary tools and instructions were included and took less than 30 minutes by myself and I have Multiple Sclerosis.

An excellent feature is that this is a smart treadmill allowing Bluetooth connection via the Mobvoi Home Treadmill app. My wife and I easily connected to the app via her Pixel Watch and my Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS and Ticwatch Pro 5. The Wear OS 3 watches appear to upload the exercise data faster, but the app connected and recorded data either way. You do not have to connect and use it as a smart treadmill. The LED panel displays your exercise information whether connected to the app or not. The advantage of connecting is that all of your health data (time, steps, heart rate, distance, etc) is automatically synced with your fitness apps (Google Fit, FitBit, Strava, Mobvoi Health, etc).

The treadmill has an excellent build quality that enables a small footprint while being easy to walk/run on. The walking platform raises very easily allowing an even smaller footprint and it lowers in a very safe and hands free manner with just a tap of the foot.

The treadmill also quickly and easily inclines up to 15 degrees via button pressing on the LED panel. There are 25 pre programmed options for exercise routine built into the LED panel, although the programs are not explained in the manual or on Mobvoi's website (at least at the time of this review). No problem though, as I simply reached out to Mobvoi by email and was quickly sent a PDF document fully explaining each program option.

This is an excellent treadmill that also inclines and has smart functionality to sync with your fitness tracking apps. We definitely highly recommend this treadmill for your fitness needs. Everyone has different needs and requirements to meet their fitness goals, but this treadmill easily should fit and exceed most fitness lifestyles. Again, I have Multiple Sclerosis and this has been a daily asset in my exercise. I have safely and conveniently used it daily to walk and automatically track each exercise session.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gutes Laufband als Home-Workout Einsteiger
Reviewed in Germany on June 10, 2023

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Home Treadmill
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 27, 2023
The Mobvoi Home Treadmill Incline comes pretty much assembled, with only a few bits to attach, such as the handles, plastic covers, and transport wheels. You even get some tubes of lubricant and maintenance instructions so you can easily self service the machine. Once assembled it's easy to fold and move around for easy storage. The soft fold system really helps here as you don't have to be super strong to move it into position and get it ready for running, assuming you don't have the room to leave it out 24x7. It folds itself down and you can pretty much lift it with one finger, a very nice feature.

You won't be able to start it until the safety key is in place, this is fixed in place by a magnet. If this comes off then the belt stops immediately, an important safety feature.

The LED screen is nice and big, and it shows speed, steps, incline angle, travel distance and time. Speed is easily changed using the plus and minus keys and if you hit the Target button then you can use the same buttons to change the incline. Very easy to do whilst running.

The machine is much quieter than I expected, and it's works really well if not on a solid floor. Ours is upstairs in a bedroom and can barely be heard from downstairs. The noise level is just above normal conversation level. It feels good to run on as it gives plenty of shock absorption. The running belt does seem a little on the short side, but I think that’s a good thing for a home treadmill. Anything that helps to reduce the weight and storage size outweighs the need for a longer belt. I’m 180cm and I don’t find it a problem.

The Mobvoi Treadmill app from the Google Play Store on my smartwatch instantly recognizes the run has started and keeps track of heart rate, steps, time, distance, calories, pace and speed. These are sent real time to my watch so I can record all my exercises. At the end of the workout you get some more stats like step frequency, maximum step frequency, maximum heart rate and time in each heart zone. This is then uploaded seamlessly to the Mobvoi Sports and Health Data Platform so I can check my results. They say that it can also be linked to virtual training trails but I’ve not tried that.

Overall if you're looking for an indoor treadmill that's solid, from a great brand, look no further. This has been a great addition to our small home gym, and we truly enjoy using the product.
