    The Soda Stream device itself is taller than I thought but still fits on my shelf or table just fine. It's pretty slim so it doesn't take up too much space. And it uses a CO2 canister, so no electricity or cords!It was extremely easy to set up and use, as well as clean. Just make sure to follow the instructions in the manual.Carbonating the water is as simple as pressing a button. Any syrups or flavors would be added last and only take a couple shakes to mix. So easy.I gifted this to myself through my husband for Christmas and it was so worth it. The best thing is that I can control the amount of syrup to limit the sugar content when needed. Also, my local HEB grocery store sells various syrups for when I want a rootbeer or Coke like drink.

     I used to spend so much money on spindrifts (and hated having to lug home multiple heavy boxes) so this has already paid for itself ...plus creates less waste!

    What I love:
    1) it's portable and needs no electricity
    2) can customize carbonation level (4 pumps is my fav)
    3) is super easy and fast to make carbonated water... So easy I was able to do it one handed while recording the video and so fast the longest part of the process is just filling up the water bottle before you carbonate!

    I just have lemons and limes on hand and squeeze a little into a glass and boom, amazing and refreshing without having to go to the store!

    My cartridge is still going strong so I haven't had to replace it yet but I've read they have an exchange program where you can bring the empty to one of their locations and get a free replacement (which is awesome!). If their isn't an exchange center near me they have an online program/mail delivery program and it's $16 to order your refill. They will send you a filled canister and a box with a prepaid return label to send back the old canister. With either option I'm still saving a ton over buying store bought carbonated water. Best Xmas gift I got this year!

    Overall this product is great. It works really well and I've had no issues. It has been fantastic to have sparkling water at all hours! However, I have found it impossible to find a reliable way to get canister refills. Ever since Bed bath and beyond went under, I have not been able to find anywhere convenient (and this is in NYC) to exchange and purchase canisters. I found amazon to be unreliable and expensive and the shipping price on soda stream is egregious. I haven't used the soda stream in a couple of months.

    This is the third SODASTREAM I have owned. I got my first one as a gift to keep me quiet. I kept complaining that it would be cheaper to get a SODASTREAM than to be constantly buying bottle after bottle of soda water. I was right. I don’t want to live without it. When I have, I complain until it gets replaced!
    They are easy to use, it is easy to put the canister in the machine, easy to replace the canister, and the results are the best! I love mine so much that I have had to replace my first two because I worked them to death. They really are the best!
