However, others say that the right ear bud doesn't charge, the charging cases doesn''t always charge when it''s meant to, and eventually the battery pack would not charge anymore.
"...Feels like more than half the time one or the other earbuds is not charging. Dropping another star. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star product." Read more

Customers are dissatisfied with the battery life of the headphones. They mention that it drains the battery and is incredibly annoying. They also say that the right ear always runs out of energy first, and the battery warnings come quickly. Customers also say they have to power them on individually.

"...are physically disconnected from each other, so you have to power them on individually, but the left one is at least smart enough to power down when..." Read more
"...Issues I've been experiencing is that the headphones drain battery even when not in use inside the case...." Read more

For all their convenience, however, these headphones are quite buggy. Sometimes the play/pause button works, but the sound gets disconnected. Sometimes I click the button to power them on, but they just don't turn on. Sometimes they just disconnect at random. Sometimes when I take them out of the charger, only one headphone powers on. Fortunately they work most of the time, so I haven't angrily chucked them in the trash yet, but I would NOT recommend these to anyone buying new headphones.
UPDATE: I am chucking these in the trash after all. After owning these for a little more than two years, the battery on the right earphone has dropped to less than an hour.
Instead, I highly recommend the Backbeat Fit 2100 if you can find a pair. The two ears are connected, which simplifies the controls and probably makes them more reliable, but they are just as comfortable, and I've never had issues with buggy behavior.
The signal between the buds is decent. There are occasional pairing issues between the buds, but after a minute or so they rarely have an issue. I think keeping your phone close or relatively stable helps with the signal consistency.
Would I buy them again, Yes.
I wouldn't want these as my only pair of headphones. I have a great pair of noise canceling Sony over the ear headphones for sitting or traveling on a plane. Hope this helps.
Don't get me wrong -- I like the sound. I mostly listen to spoken word, namely podcasts. and these sound really good for that. And for music, it's not like there's no bass at all. But if I'm not outside, and I'm listening to music or watching a movie, I'll use something else.
Connectivity is good -- I've had only a couple of drop-outs, and those were just a fraction of a second. Battery life is good. I wish the case had an Apple lightning connecter for charging instead of USB micro, but that was never going to happen.
Nitpicks: the carrying case is huge compared to some other truly wireless headphones. With the ear hook design, I don't know how the case could be a whole lot smaller. But it's barely pocketable even if you have big loose pockets. The BackBeat app (iPhone version) sometimes just won't connect. I've had to force-quit the app a few times to get it to work. Note that this problem is just with the app, which is only used to change settings and update the firmware. I have no such problems with basic bluetooth connections for regular audio use.
Update: after nearly three months of using these virtually every day, usually twice or more, I’m still happy. Every initial impression still stands. Battery life is still good. I still hate USB micro. I hope the next version of these switches to USB-C.
I had a single instance when the two earbuds weren’t quite synchronized - the sound in one ear was slightly later than the other. I tried pause/restart, and Bluetooth disconnect/reconnect, and it persisted. I powered down, and powered back up, and all was well.
I use these under over-ear sound-suppression earmuffs while mowing my lawn. Bluetooth isn’t perfect that situation, but mostly it works. My BeatsX were better; I believe the Bluetooth antenna is in the wire, so they had better connectivity. But these Plantronics are good enough — some days, I don’t get any dropouts at al.

Le son des écouteurs est très bon, mais j'ai des petites oreilles et ils deviennent inconfortable après une heure ou deux. Quand même très contente du rapport qualité/prix.
