When i got this i was trying not to jump up and down giggling like a idiot. Putting it in a was then made a little wary of the whole thing... but that went away when i started the main campaign.
Now i've only played Leon's so far on the game but did all three on the demo, not the same i know but still gave me an idea of what to expect. First things first, i dont know why i'm seeing people compare it to RE:4 around the web, its the same style of gameplay but thats it doesnt even feel the same as RE:4. This game is a massive improvement on Raccoon City, which seemed to bugger up the reputation of the series, i'll even go as far as saying its better then RE:5 as well.
On the very first level your thrown into the deep end in a dark university campus which gives off the vibe you'd expect from a survival horror game filled with zombies, good stuff. The only real annoyance about this game that i have is the camera system, i spent a few minutes trying to get it the way i wanted it, inverted view controls are not your friend as you have two seperate control settings for running etc and for aiming and shooting. The inventory system is a little annoying but its not a big fuss as you really wont be paying attention all that much as you'll be doing a lot of shooting.
The skill set is a little strange, you spend your time collecting points and you can only change and buy them at the end of each chapters, you cant change them mid way through a chapter if your finding it a little tricky.
Several times your given a pressured feeling when you've got to hold off a zombie swarm while waiting for a door to unlock, but in my opinion it just adds to the fun.
Graphics and Sound are very good on it and set the scene very well, your given a wide array of enviroments to fight through, and the option of getting help on sections from three people while online is just very useful if your doing it on a harder mode. But these sections are do-able on your own, just make sure you've got extra ammo.
But all in all this is worth it. A good addition to any gamers collection
