I've ordered 4, two from a different packaging place but they all come with scratches, not sure if it has to do with production since the 2 I got from here came the same way. Minimal & doesn't affect the way the camera works. I like that it can disconnect, you do have to delete video however but it's not a drag for the price & function. It will however be affected by the sun, had to throw one out, it's best to take it off if you are not going to shield it. You may have to adjust it several times & tighten it so it doesn't move when you drive, but it works out.

Great camera. I already had one and decided to get another. Picks up pretty good at night with a lights around. I was parked one day and just turned the camera where there was a dispute going on. Good for the road and other things.

Does not hold a charge

If you want a reliable piece of equipment, don't buy this thing. I made that mistake. It only works if you have it plugged in to a cigarette lighter. The internal battery does not hold a charge. I left this thing plugged in overnight and when I went to use it w/o being plugged into the lighter, it died in 2 minutes. Piece of junk.

Also, it does not come with a memory card, so I wasted money not only on a piece of junk that can't hold a charge, but also a memory card that I won't have any use for once I replace this piece of junk with a more reliable and better quality dash camera.
