Mix-Fi

Powered High-fidelity Headphones with Built-in Audiophile Amp

Fit and Comfort—Reinvented

Mix-Fi is no ordinary headphone. From the multi-jointed design to earcups shaped like ears, Blue has completely reimagined the form and functionality. The result feels less like a headphone, and more like a high-quality instrument you can wear.

The unique multi-jointed headband was inspired by the finely tuned suspension of an open-wheeled Formula One racecar. It’s elegant. It’s comfortable. And it features an adjustable tension knob that allows you to dial-in the perfect setting—not too tight, not too loose, but just right. Pivoting arms allow for a small change in the angle of the earcups to achieve a large amount of height adjustment. The earcups simply float into place. You get a level of fit and comfort that just isn’t possible on other headphones. Plus it creates a perfect seal, resulting in solid bass response, improved isolation and reduction in bleed—perfect for tracking in the studio.

Driver Specifications

  • Type and size: 50mm, fiber-reinforced dynamic driver
  • Impedance: 42 ohms
  • Frequency response: 15-20kHz
  • Enclosure details: Sealed enclosure with tuned damping materials

Mix-Fi

Makes Every Device Sound Better

Mix-Fi improves the sound of every source—from smartphones to studio gear—by reducing the audio workload on your device. The amplifier provides tons of power so your source doesn’t have to work so hard. You’ll get way less distortion, leading to unparalleled sound quality… on every device.

All-Analogue Amp Modes

Unlike those bass-in-your-face headphones, Mix-Fi includes three amp modes so you can choose the right sound for your music. No DSP tricks here—this is all analog. No matter if you’re listening to 70s-era rock, modern pop, orchestral, hip-hop or something else, you’ll have total control over your listening experience.

Intelligent Power Management

Mix-Fi’s smart design saves big on battery life, ensuring that the headphones are always ready for action. First off, Mix-Fi knows when you’ve stopped listening and automatically powers down to save juice. The battery will charge completely in 3-4 hours, and give you approximately 12 hours of life-changing playtime (with intelligent power management, that 12 hours will feel like forever). And even if the battery runs down, Mix-Fi can continue to work in passive mode.

Go from Lo-Fi to Mix-Fi

More and more hi-resolution music is hitting the market. These incredible recordings allow you to enjoy all the details of the original tracks. But why listen to hi-res music with low-res headphones? Only Mix-Fi can faithfully reproduce these amazing recordings. So go Mix-Fi—and hear what you’ve been missing.

Mix-Fi

Mix-Fi for Musicians

Remember when studio monitors went from passive to active? Now it’s happened to headphones. Mix-Fi brings the performance of high-end reference monitors to your ears, so you can judge what’s really going on in your mix. When you’re making music, the built-in amplifier provides ample headroom, while the excellent sound isolation lets you hear the music clearly. It all integrates together to deliver astounding accuracy and detailed imaging, so you’ll be able to create mixes that translate across all systems.

  • Custom-matched amp + driver design delivers unrivaled sound
  • Powered system improves performance of all your devices
  • Revolutionary personalized fit for superior comfort and performance

Disintegrated within first month and not worth
I like the way it feels when wearing, but the quality is definitely not worth the price… Sadly, the material just started to fall apart on its own getting worse each day like it’s unable to withstand air… it literally was disintegrating almost in front of my eyes. This is of absolute poor quality and would demand a refund but the damage happened almost like IPhone updates when a new model is coming out. I would not recommend this at all. I do recommend their mics but not this… unless they refund me and get me a better quality headset.

Easy peasy set up. I bought a separate adapter so I can use it with my phone, no biggie there. Super comfortable, you can adjust how tightly it hugs your head. They do feel a bit heavy, I'm used to the lightweight gaming headsets, so this feels a lot bigger in comparison, but not a total turn off. It did some getting used to BUT the payoff is more than worth it!!! And here's why... before you plug these in, listen to your favorite song. You're jamming, you love it, you know every word and note of it. Here's where it gets good... plug this head set in and start that song again. Close your eyes and realize everything you've been missing on your phone, in the car, on you echo device. Ohhhhh my! THEN when you're done with that, look up 8D music and make sure you're sitting down for it! I would buy these 100 times over again to experience the music like I do now. OH and there's a bass boost mode... queue the heavy club music!

The best headphones I've ever had (and I've had quite a few) Great sound. The only thing I don't understand is why the manufacturer showed off and came up with a special small size plug on the cable. It can only be replaced with the original cable. The design is comfortable, although a bit bulky...

These sound really nice. I don't need or use the built in amp. There are some quality issues. The first set I purchased had issues with the switch not clicking into place. The second set the switch works great but the ear pad material immediately started shredding apart. I didn't want to try a third set since these work great. I ordered a replacement set of ear pads. I've read that others have had similar issues. Blue really needs to address the quality issues for the price they are selling these for.

These are by far the best headphones I've ever put on my head. You will hear things you've never heard before in your music. You can forget about using these without the amp. The minute you turn it on you won't go back. They are super clear and if you want more bass there is the option to. The only thing about these headphones is that they are big and bulky. This makes them durable but not good for outside use. These are definitely more of a indoor or stay at home pair of headphones. Don't be intimidated about the price. They are worth every penny

4.0 out of 5 stars Guter Sound, robust bis auf die Ohrpolster
Reviewed in Germany on September 4, 2019

4.0 out of 5 stars Une pince qui sonne
Reviewed in France on December 9, 2018

3.0 out of 5 stars Klang TOP...Verarbeitung teils schlecht+Kopfschmerz durch zu straffen Sitz...
Reviewed in Germany on February 9, 2021

Was mir nicht gefällt:
1.
