It’s slow

It’s slow
Aweful ! Just terrible! I’m an avid gamer ! The storyline is sooo slow bc they talk way too much. There 2 possible ending.. you can’t skip through the talking. The boss fight was a joke- I’m comparing this game to army of two, which by the way is packed with way more action AND co op experience- don’t waste your money on “a way out”!

I want to start off by saying this isn't the game for you if you're looking for an action game where you shoot your way out of every situation. That being said, if you're like me and have been frustrated with the lack of options for co-op games that aren't sports titles or first person shooters, then you should get this game immediately.

A Way Out is more of an interactive movie than anything else, with a decent plot and some great audio. You must work together with your partner to escape prison and get revenge on the guy that set you both up. There are different ways to go about doing things, each with their own consequences, and you must both agree on the course of action. Teamwork and communication are a must.

This game has a little bit of everything. Puzzle solving, action sequences, and even some sports! Though not a long game, it certainly has replayability through making different choices and trying different things each time.

I just want to give a big thank you to the developers for making an innovative co-op experience and including local splitscreen when very few games these days are taking the time to include that option. Will be looking forward to future games from these guys!

This game had a great story line. My partner, who doesn't play video games often played with me. The game is extremely easy, which was good because it kept her engaged. I wish it had been a little more difficult, but honestly, the game play and fun you get from the co op really made me love this game. It forces your to communicate how to proceed with something and depending what you choose, effects the games outcome. We beat it in 7 hours. Another review I saw said they beat it in 6 hours. So it's averaging out to be a short game. It was a great bonding experience and we loved the story, twist and plot!

With that being said, some cons:
-If you're looking for an open world concept, this is not the game. You're very limited in where you can go.
-The shooting/aim isn't the greatest
-It's really easy (but fun)
- You don't get to free fight. It's more so push x, push y at designated times.

Overall, this was a lot of fun and I am glad I purchased it.

One of the most exhilaratingly unique coop experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure to play. If you’ve played the game Brothers before, you have an idea of what to expect in terms of atmosphere and storytelling style. However, the coop element really elevates the gameplay(especially in one aspect that should really be experienced in person, so no spoilers).

The characters of Leo and Vincent both exude charisma and have their own interesting backstories and quirks. Excellent voice acting as well. There is a good variety of things to do and ways you can interact with your teammate. Unfortunately, that leads to one of the only negatives I have with the game, which is the gunplay. It’s serviceable but don’t expect it to be on par with a typical shooter, though it only makes up only a small portion of the game. A jack of all trades is a master of none is true here.

Ultimately, if you have a friend to play it with, this is absolutely one of the first games I would recommend. It’s a good price for a 6-8 hour experience and there’s multiple endings. A unique and highly enjoyable game.

You are essentially playing through a movie with your partner (whether on the couch or across the world) and the two of you work together to solve a few puzzles and challenges as you experience a great prison story. The price point was perfect for a game of this length and it allows one person to buy the game and play with any friend who has downloaded the free demo version. Hardcore gamers looking for Uncharted style action/adventure should be warned that this game can feel more similar to the tell-tale style of playable stories but there is definitely enough going on to enjoy the ride. If you have a friend that you know would be willing to run through this game with you I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. I would love to see developers release more of this pure coop content.

Lots of glitches but polished enough for an indie title.

The game plays like a movie and there is a lot to do. Plenty of laughs playing with a friend and provides fun trip through several game genres such as FPS, timing games, driving, and a bit of stealth. Graphics are great as it uses Unreal engine.

The cons are glitches, bad AI, questionable dialogue and storyline and small split screens in both couch/local and online 2player.

All in all, worth $15 or so used but not the full price of admission.

I played this game couch co-op with my wife and we had a lot of fun. The gameplay is easy to pick up. Most of the puzzles/situations have easily recognizable solutions. There isn't much penalty for failing/dying as you just get to try again. Some people complain about the pacing, but I thought it was fine. Our only complaint was that it seemed to short and there doesn't seem to be much replay-ability. Once you know the story and see the "twist" there's no real reason to play it again. Still, it was enjoyable and refreshing to have a game that forced you to play with someone else and work together with them.

I played this with my wife and we both loved the game. There are not many two player couch co-op games, but this one hit it out of the park. It has a great story and both players participate equally in the game. You can't beat the game without the other players help, meaning one player doesn't end up dragging the other player through the whole game like most couch co-op games.

If you are looking for a game to play with your friend then this is the one. It is really a good game to play with great storyline. But one thing that dissapoints is its play hour is only 14 hours😔for this price I don't think that's a great deal. But if you don't care about the price then give it a try..👍🏻👍🏻

GAMELOOT is a great place to sell used games.
After finishing it you could sell it there..you will get a great deal there...
