My last hub lasted about 5 years. If I had hooked it to a UPS through a power surge, it would have probably lasted another 5 years. The hubs from this company are very well made. The hub was immediately recognized in their app. The Sengled account can be joined to your Alexa account to work with Amazon Echo products. The lights they make seem to last forever. I will continue buying their products if I need to expand. I would highly recommend this vendor's products.
Motion detection on this product is irrelevant, so I'll give that category 5 stars to not ruin my review.
