We purchased this for traveling. It was NOT significantly less money than a full-sized Keurig which I felt it should be. The decrease in size and lack of a large reservoir made it more compact of course. But if you're used to multiple cups of coffee or a large mug of coffee, or if 2 or more people are using it, this pot may not be for you. Pouring the amount of water per cup in the machine is great but limited. So to make a larger cup, you need to add a measuring cup along with your travel kit so you can brew a second cup into your larger mug. The machine turns on after the lid is closed but the flashing light to let you know that the water is ready is unpredictable. At the camp where I used it, I wanted to make my large mug of evening herbal tea. The first batch of hot water went through well. The second disappeared from the reservoir and heated. I had pushed the button to add it to my mug and walked away. When I came back, it didn't look as though there was more tea in my mug. I didn't question it. But the following morning, using a small cup for coffee, I added water and came back to find an overflowed cup and ruined (weak) coffee-flavored water. The water had stayed in the heating chamber the night before instead of adding to my mug. I just don't feel that this little Keurig is well made or a good design. For the price, I expected better than a cheap hotel in-room coffee maker. I'm disappointed. And one pod of coffee on a small setting should make a decent cup of coffee but in this machine, it's consistently weak even with less water. I'm thinking of returning it. It's only getting 3 stars because it has the ability to make coffee.
