I’ve been looking for dual sided pedals like this for a long time, but most of the major brands don’t carry them anymore for some reason. I finally found these, and they are perfect. The price is reasonable, they seem to be of good quality, and they were very easy to install on my Peloton. Now my sister and I can both use our SPD and SPD-SL spin shoes interchangeably, and if anyone is visiting, they can bring their own shoes without worrying about which cleats they need.

The toe cages are a little wonky to use because they are hard to snap on and it's even more awkward to put them on your shoe first and then try to snap in. I have cycling shoes, but I thought these would be great for the rest of the fam to use the indoor cycle. In practice, I usually just have to snap these back in after my rides, as they're a pain for the kids to use and they usually ask for my help. The included tool for removing them is great, and I wouldn't get these without the tool, but it does seem a little flimsy and could break if you torque it wrong.

I have a Peloton - I love it. But I have wide feet and need a bigger toe box. Those Peloton shoes make my toes go numb. I have SPD (MTB) pedals on my outdoor bikes. This is exactly what I needed. My wife can use her Peloton shoes that came with the LOOK Delta compatible cleats and I flip the pedals over and use my SPD shoes. Life is grand.

I will note that these needed a little bit of lube. They were making some noise on the first ride. A couple of sprays of T-9 on the springs and they are smooth and quiet.

If you are using the Peloton shoes and pedals, you will find these easier to get out of. SPDs are a little tricky to get into, but you'll figure it out quickly.

I have never heard of Venzo. I would have preferred to buy a Shimano or another name brand. But they seem to be pretty good quality. I have used them five times so far and I am quite happy. I will update the review if anything changes.

INSTALLATION TIP - HEY NOOB! YEAH YOU, READ THIS.

There are left and right pedals. The threads go in the opposite direction.

When you screw them in DON'T SCREW IT UP! Do you see what I did there?

Reading other reviews, I saw where someone said that these stripped the treads in their crank and ruined their bike. OUCH! That wasn't the pedals' fault. It's whoever installed them. I think the only way that could happen is if these were cross-threaded. I found the finish on the threads to be of superb quality. I was able to thread them most of the way just by using my fingers and just snug them with a wrench to tighten them.

A Crescent Wrench or Vice Grips will not work (for the love of God, what are you doing? Put those away!) The space between the pedal and crank is too tight for an adjustable wrench.
