This is my second tech21 case. Its sleek and thin with a slightly tacky (but not sticky) surface so it wont slide out of your hand or off a surface. I see no concerns about it not being thick enough around the camera or screen. If you are that unlucky to drop a phone that lands on anything other than an edge, or you spend a lot of time around gravel roads, you can go with the otter box case that is twice as thick as if you have a phone form 10-years ago.
