    I also have Apple Watch 7. The Ultra is amazing with the larger screen and battery can last my usage for 3 days before charging. The diver band is comfortable and convenient to wear. All the hype that comes with it is bonus. The extra button on the left can assign to flashlight or anything useful. It has more features for exercise than I will ever use.

    Although the Ultra is amazing in its ability to perform multiple functions and is definitely Apples premier timepiece I was slightly disappointed to find out that it’s Dive function which is adequate providing basic information is missing the functions to make it a Dive computer ( btw is why I purchased one for myself and my wife ). Yes, you can download an App to convert the watch to a fully functioning dive computer but unfortunately there’s a monthly / yearly subscription 🤔.
    That being said I have to say that it’s extremely durable and a quality product 😎👍🏾

    I did all the same research you did, went for the series five, wore it for a week and realized it wasn’t that much different than my seres three so sprung for the ultra. Bottom line, it does not disappoint. Feels great on my wrist, not too big at all. The features, although similar to the five, are easy to access and use with ease in daily life. Finally, this thing just looks amazing! If you’re thinking about it, pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed!

    Battery improved a lot (2x = 36hs), but still doesn’t match the Garmin 935/945 that lasts almost 2 weeks.
    If you don’t need diving functions, dust proof, prefer a smaller size and not a fancy model, the SE version works perfectly.
