Perfect phone case!

I’ve had a number of different iPhones and cases, and only two cases met my standards and expectations: this Totallee case and a Peel case. Peel didn’t have a new iphone SE case, and the Totallee got good reviews and recommendations. I thought I would try it this time (and save money vs repetitively buying cheaper cases).

The case is very thin, clear, has no manufacturer ID printed on it, and is just the right amount of balance between soft, sticky and slippery. Without the case, the iPhone SE slid easily across tables and kitchen counters. With the Totallee case, it stays put. It also rests smoothly on the back because the camera doesn’t stick up anymore. I got the SE because it was a bit smaller and fits into pockets comfortably, and because it’s thin, it retains the small size. It probably is not as protective as thicker cases in the event of a dropped phone, but the bumpers seem thick enough to absorb a good amount of shock if dropped.

Although the case is a bit pricey, it’s worth the money compared to the competition which I haven’t had much luck with (and had to replace enough cheaper cases exceeding the cost of the Totallee case).

I highly recommend this case!

The Thinnest Case to Settle Them All!

If you know what this case is intended to do then you know you've struck gold. If you want the thinnest case but still give more protection than a wrap then you shouldn't really look any further. Everything is perfectly measured out and the quality is very consistent and precise. I can see why they charge a premium for this product as you can tell it is meticulously made with precision to detail and keeping things as thin as possible without loosing some what of a protection. I would advise to me careful with apply and taking off the case as it is somewhat vulnerable to creasing considering its thin design. And lastly the customer service is phenomal after sending me a replacement immediately without questions asked due to an error of my own. You wont find that with many companies these days. The life of this phone case had two arcs. In the first, it was a great product. It's thin, doesn't feel like a case at all, is visually unoffensive (no stupid logo), and yet still protects your phone to an acceptable degree.

In the second arc, about five months in, the shape began to deform, especially around the buttons. At this point the material of the case began bending and sticking out, in a rather unappealing way. The part sticking out would also sometimes catch onto things.

I would overall describe this product with positive emotion, but bearing in mind that your relationship with it will be shorter than you think, like with a pet cat or dog.

I understand people in different situations looking for more protection, fatter cases. For myself, I want a thin cover for protection from scratches and minimal drops, I carry it in my shirt pocket and I take very good care of it. When I bend or kneel I've developed a muscle memory reflex: my free hand unconsciously raises and covers my pocket. And I carry Applecare+ for serious episodes. Your mileage may vary.

The only reason I didn't continue using the 6 case is that the SE camera position is slightlty different from the 6. Otherwise it fits the SE. While looking for a new case in fact, I used the 6 case and just nibbled away a little plastic around the camera.

I tried and returned four (4) other brands which all claim to be "ultra thin". A couple of them even advertise a value like .30" thick, but these values are not correct (I checked with a caliper). They are not ultra thin. This one is.

I had an iPhone 6 with a Spigen case which I really liked. It was a hard shell case and came up flush, not over the front of the phone. Well maybe a millimeterI above the face. I dropped the phone twice onto bare concrete from about 2' and then 3' with no damage. So I ordered a Spigen for this phone but the Spigen has put on weight.

This case fits just like the old Spigen but it is soft. Suggests to me it may take a drop even better than the hard case Spigen. No need for a caliper, as soon as I put it on I saw that it is slim like the old Spigen. It's not cheap. If you're looking for a case that protects from scratching and short drops, but still lets the phone look like an iPhone, well, I haven't found anything else like this. And I've tried.

Strongly recommend.

I got the frost case. Case was returned, it was used. I ordered a new one so that was upsetting. For the price, this case is not worth it. I understand that this case if for those that just want a cover like a dbrand sticker and nothing else, but even a dbrand skin is way cheaper than this. The case wasn’t perfect either. The camera whole was miss-alighted. The ends of the case were sharp. It just didn’t feel like $40 dollar case. If it was $20 yeah I will give them a pass but for the price this is not it. So if you’re in the market for a super thin case go with dbrand, it’s half the price and you get two skins instead of one of these cases.

Edit: These guys are taking you for a spin. I bought a JETech slim case. It’s the same thing! And only for $9. Now I feel bad about ever trying this case.

Great case but pricey

This case does everything it says. It is thinner than any other TPU case I have used/seen, has great grip, and in the past few weeks has kept its color better than other cases I have used in the past. Knowing if it does yellow, I can get a new one with the warranty in the next year increases my confidence it will stay that way.

My one concern is it does get minor scratches pretty easily despite no apparent cause, but I think this is a truism of all TPU cases. Also, it is pricey and you can find other similar cases for much cheaper. You are paying for the warranty, slight decrease in thickness, and hopefully a case that stays clear for the next year.

I just purchased my second Totallee ultraslim frosted case for my iPhone SE2. My first Totallee case was purchased last year (for the original, premium price) and has weathered 5-6 drops of my glass-backed phone, including a drop at a Starbucks drive-thru from the car window to the concrete ground when I tried to pay. The case has since dented at two corners (and my third-party screen protector cracked) but the phone is still pristine.

Prior to purchasing the Totallee case, I used thicker protective cases that ruined the sleek and elegant feel of my phones. On the rare occasions where I would remove the case to clean the inside, I realized how much I preferred handling the bare phone. The Totallee case is beautifully form-fitting and does not interfere with the use of the phone; it is almost like using the phone bare (but with added light protection from scratches, and a few drops.) I don't think I can ever go back to using a clunky, heavy-duty case again unless I go on a sporting/camping trip.

I may not ALWAYS stick with Totallee for an ultraslim case in the future, because I tend to experiment with different brands over time...but Totallee was my introduction and they have spoiled me. I am very satisfied with the design and performance of their case.
