So, I might actually return this cable. "Wait, why the 5 stars if you may return it?", you ask. Well, I needed a longer HDMI cable for my kinda cruddy 780 tv. I saw this one and thought "that's a pretty good price of a 25' HDMI." Heavy duty cable, HECK YEAH! Let's Tim Allen this thing!!! Uh, it's a heavy duty cable. Not a 'heavy duty HDMI', it heavy duty for any cable. Its thicker that any of my semi-industrial power cable. It may well be heavier duty than industrial cable. Dang, this is a serious cable! Im sure this thing will last for a long time...HOWEVER, I am NEVER taking this thing with me on a trip (I travel quite frequently and had assumed it would be hackable...). I think this thing weighs 4 or 5 lbs! ITS A SERIOUS CABLE!!! Maybe much more than I needed. I definately got my money's worth. I'm loath to give it up, but dang its heavy duty. I'd say definitely commercial grade. I just don't know if I need that heavy of a cable.... I'm NOT putting that thing in my computer backpack. Seriously, 4 or 5 lbs.

25ft cable works for 4K 60fps

I know sending a lot of data through a long HDMI cable is not easy. Most cables don't have any problem with full 1080p full HD but at 25ft, few cables are capable of doing 4K. Coming into this fully aware of the challenge, I did not expect it to work for 4K signal transmission. But it really worked for 4K at 60fps. I know this is not one of those "certified" premium for 4K and it might be hit or miss. I was lucky.
I tested it with the Samsung K8500 UHD blu-ray player. This player's home screen is 4K 60fps and it worked fine. I popped in a couple of 4K blu-ray discs (most 4K blu-rays are 24fps so it's a lot easier on HDMI cable) and it worked without any issue. I then tested with the Costa Rica 4K 60fps on youtube and it also worked. For every test, I pressed info button on my TV remote to see the input signal and confirmed the correct input resolution and frame rates.
To sum it up, if you want to buy this cable to for 4K, go for it. It's NOT guaranteed to work but there's a good chance that it will. I worked for me. I guess I'm lucky but you can be too. If it doesn't you can always return it.

Good, but not for 4K HDR...

I purchased 3 of the 10-foot cables to connect a few different devices to my new 4K TV, just long enough to run through the wall and clean up the tangle of shorter cables that were now exposed. While these cables work great for my AppleTV and my sound bar/receiver using the ARC port, I could tell that my XBox One X wasn't going to be happy. Running at 4K HDR, the XBox picture would be OK for a while, then suddenly black out for a few seconds, or get random lines of static across the screen. Swapping which cable was connected to the XBox didn't improve things, so back to Amazon I went to order a different brand of cable that was twice the price (but still pretty reasonable, all things considered). That new beefier cable did the trick, and my XBox is now happily humming along with beautiful 4K HDR video. I'll hang on to the original cable, since I'm sure I'll need it for something not 4K eventually.

Bottom line - these are fine for anything up to DVD or Blu-Ray quality use, but if you're going to do actual 4K HDR, probably better to invest in a higher-quality cable.

A heavy, long 15' HDMI cable at affordable AmazonBasics pricing.

The CL3 implies both a fire-safety and a higher voltage rating. But that also means this is far from a "slim" cable-- if you're using this cable indoors (not in a wall), and only sending a video signal over it, you could get away with a much lighter cable...if you can find one this well-priced.

I'm only using it for a 2K display (not pushing its specs at all), and the picture quality is great.

As with all copper data cables, avoid excess cable length-- the shorter the cable, the closer to the actual length you need, the less chance of signal degradation or interference. Keep in mind passive HDMI starts to suffer signal degradation at around the 25-foot length. But if you need a long cable, this AmazonBasics is a good choice.

I purchased the AmazonBasics CL3 Rated High-Speed 4K HDMI Cable - 15 Feet for my wife. She took a remote class which required a second monitor. Normally, she used the one on her desk but, when we traveled, she used the cable I purchased to connect to whatever television (with an HDMI port) was handy. The fifteen feet gave her the freedom to have a little distance between herself (the laptop) and the television. This cable allowed us to travel during the six months she took these classes!

The AmazonBasics CL3 Rated High-Speed 4K HDMI Cable - 15 Feet works really well.

Be aware that it's heavy. This is a heavy-duty cable with some weight to it. You'll probably want to ensure that the weight of the cable is supported near your computer so that it doesn't put undue strain on the port. It's probably ok but why take chances?!

Definitely a good purchase for our needs.
