1. Pot Roast (a Must when you get this cooker). I used the "Slow cooker High" option and cooked it for 3 hours! But prior to that I used the “Sear” option to sear my pot roast and then moved to the next option. It came out hot and so delicious :-)
2. Chicken BBQ: I did chicken breasts 4 of them with my spices and home make BBQ sauce, I selected "Slow cooker Low" option for cooking and it came out so amazing!
3. I used it to cook BBQ Ribs for the first time in my life… and it came out so good ☺. I also used the timer since I was not sure what time I was coming back home. After the timer was finished it went on "Keep Warm" setting automatically (big plus for me). When I came home, I had dinner ready and it was perfect temp. :-) (Don’t judge me it was 4th of July weekend and I wanted BBQ food) ☺.
Today, I am cooking Mac and cheese in this on "Slow cook Low" temp, as I am going out for a movie after work, but don't want to eat out :-) So after movie I will be coming back to a warm comfort food.
To me it worth the money: Again, I have been using this cooker everyday for a short period of time and for now it is working perfectly and seems to be one of my best gadgets after my VITAMIX 750 in my kitchen. I am going to try RISOTTO Setting and RICE and so on... I will let you all know how it goes. If you are busy and you cook every day, like me, this will pay off. The inner pot is amazing I don't use oil or even spray my coconut oil, and it is amazingly non-stick! It is so easy to clean :-)
Do your research first before you want to buy anything specially an expensive item like this one, (I sure did mine). Ask yourself what do you WANT in a cooker? How often are you going to use that item? Does it save you money in long run? To me, the following characteristics were important to have in a multi cooker:
1. Manual control /option
2. Timer.
3. Keep warm for more than 8 hours.
Call me control freak, but I love to have control over my food's temperature and this cooker has satisfied all my wants :-)
Other things that you need to consider:
• The size is perfect for me (I cook for one). But I have cooked for 4 people in this cooker and it has accommodated perfectly (I hate people leaving my house hungry).
• The outer pot is beautiful and big so make sure you have enough counter space. I leave it out since I am using it every day for now, but I can see myself putting this on top of my fridge proudly as it is an eye candy :-) I called it my "Spaceship cooker".
• The whole pot is not heavy... (I am used to lifting Le Creuset pots) so this one is very light compare to them. :-)
As I mentioned cleaning the inner pot is a breeze, so is the outer pot. I just wiped it with a damp cloth after each use. The other pot doesn’t get HOT at all, which is another plus as I leave it on and leave the house (I only do leave it unattended when I do “slow cook low”). I don’t like to leave things unattended when I am out of the house.
Hope this helps you on your research journey to find your “spaceship cooker” ☺
Keep cooking good foods ☺

Very happy with this purchase. One thing I've noticed. The downloaded recipe book is nice, but the majority of the recipes include the use of the stir mixer. I did not get that. I recommend you consider getting the combo package when a good sale price comes up. I've added the stirrer to my camel camel camel alerts. Hoping to get it for a much reduced price. Just made a great beef stew and used a wooden spoon to stir it. Probably would not work for the more delicate items.
I downloaded the recipe book to my IPad, and it went right into IBooks. Makes it easy find, open and use whenever I use the Multicooker.
Kitchen aid processed my $40 Visa promo card very quickly. They gave constant in progress notice. I know I forget to include the serial number. They obviously want happy customers.
Original review.
This product has allowed me to make beef stews, chicken soup, and fish stews with ease. Takes about 2 hours to make a fully cooked chicken soup from a 4 pound whole chicken. Same with the beef stew. The beef stew recipe in the free cookbook came out perfectly. Let me explain. We live in an enclosed condo building. My wife hates the smell of fish cooking. She also is dead against using our range top for anything other than cooking water for hard boiled eggs, or plain pasta. Those that have incurred the expense of a kitchen remodel will understand why we are so protective of our kitchen cabinets. They look new. They will stay that way. I put in all the ingredients for fish chowder, including frozen haddock, placed it on our patio, plugged it in, used the soup setting, and 2 hours later a delicious fish stew. No odor in the house at all. The first day I received it, made a great tasting beef stew. I think it's failsafe, in that food comes out perfect. As I experiment further, I will edit this review. Next time, cabbage soup, made on the patio.
After experimenting with the settings, which takes some practice to learn, I find it easiest to set the initial setting to boil. Boils very quickly. Then I switch the setting to soup. As I said, two hours to make stew or meaty soup.
This is a large device, but its shape makes it much easier to store than a crockpot. Higher than a crockpot, but not as long. Fits easily in my bottom cabinet, where I struggled with the crockpot. It is also much lighter than a crockpot. You don't have to worry about damaging the sink when you clean it. The lift out container containing the food is very light, and very easy to clean. Some have said that they leave it on the counter because it's so attractive. I guess if you have a very large kitchen you can leave it out, but not in most kitchens. I ordered the SS, because of a $ 50 dollar price difference. Otherwise I would have ordered the red or ebony. The SS is not especially attractive.
The cookbook that someone mentioned, must be downloaded. Mine downloaded without a problem. It is a cookbook for the multi cooker. The site takes you to cookbooks for various Kitchen aid devices.

This product is amazing, it has so many cooking options, and is very easy to use. I love being able to brown, boil and/or slow cook.
I thought it was a bit pricey, but I’m glad I spent the money.
I would highly recommend this product.
