It is requiring me to register but it wont let me access the website to do so. I finally just got tired of it asking and just cancel it when it pops up each time. Also quite a few viruses get through. Tired of having to do a system restart to get my computer to start because of a virus which just "rarely" happens.

Horrible program and inept Technical Support!

I finally installed this product onto my new Dell Laptop. It didn't install correctly. I had to contact McAfee's Technical Dept. About a month later, I kept receiving an error message regarding the program being unable to download updates. Again, I had to contact McAfee's Technical Dept. The same day, the program asked me to run The Backup program. Again it failed. Again, I had to contact McAfee's Technical Dept. After giving the technical support representative access to my computer PLUS waiting for him/her to try to diagnose the issue, he/she tells me he/she would have to escalate the issue to 2nd level of Technical Support. He/she then asked me when it would be a good time (2 hour window) for them to contact me. Since it was already 10 PM, I advised to call the next day between 9 - 11 AM. He/she advised that no one from the 2nd level of Technical Support would be able to contact me for four days. By this time, I was more than frustrated. I advised not to bother having the 2nd level of Technical Support contact me as I was going to uninstall the product and use another Antivirus Program.

Please save yourself the time and aggravation of trying to use this product. I wouldn't use another McAfee product again even if it was given to me for free!
